Elle! I noticed your accent and I was like, "Girl has to be from the South!" Honey, I'm in Huntsville...only 30 minutes from you! I don't know why I'm so excited. Lol. My son got a leopard gecko for his birthday and we are in love!
Elle I bought the moist hide because you said it was great and I was kinda tired of doing moist paper towels . My little Leo loves it I just put it in the tank and he went right for it exploring all in it. So cute! Thank you!
Elle, I'd been looking at that moist hide since before getting my Noodle, but wasn't sure. When I saw you reviewed it I watched and ordered. He loves it and it's helped, but it has also started a domino effect. From there I found ollas (terracotta plant watering devices) and started doing some trial and error. Then I mentioned the hide in the Green Room Pythons Discord and a bunch of us are running wild with ideas. I'm here to thank you. This one video has a bunch of keepers playing with different ideas and creative humidity. All I can say is, thank you.
Just wanted to share. I got my dream reptile yesterday! He’s a hypo leatherback zero, bearded dragon! His name is Toast and I’m so happy. Also, love the video, Elle!
Update- he is now 5 months and he is a little sceptical of handling but he’s getting there :)
It's my fav liner and for absolutely everything without a loose substrate I will be using this for
2:50 all I saw was the Figi Banded Iguana and thought, "Hey that's illegal, but I want it." Had to rewatch to see that product you were talking about.

Parrot balls. A couple of my tarantulas really like crawling and laying on them. Good luck on this adventure!

I use the leash without the wings for my beardie, it's really nice being able to have him outside and not run off without me. I even added more string to the leash so he can go farther lol.

I’m loving your channel! I’ve used it to aid in my research before I get my first BD. I have the tank and I’ve ordered all the lighting. Im working on enrichment. I saw in a previous video that you used your own drift wood. I also have my own from a nearby river. My question is how did you sanitize it? I fond Temu faster than wish and slower than Amazon. So Temu was a happy medium for me.

For the bearded dragon feeding thing my bearded dragon is always hungry so he would be pushing it around while he tries to eat them when they are inside I know this because he strikes at the critter keeper when I feed him crickets
Haha it probably be a fantastic product for bearded dragons who are more active than Zsasz 😅
The liner is absolutely amazing I have the exact one u got it did 3 4 foot long enclosures no problem it is a lil less then 2 foot wide so it's not exact but it's so amazing when they dirty it up u take in outside or in the shower and spray it down it's that simple and I usually put newspaper underneath it Incase any liquid goes over the sides of it and I clean it once a week and replace the newspaper
Yea I really wasn't expecting that quality, but it looks like it'd work great. It's also pretty thick too. Glad to know that it works well long term! 😊
@@ellesreptiles yup it's great I wish I cud insert a pic here but it looks nice too and I wet my shower wall and it sticks right to the wall with water and u just wash it while it's on the wall and spray it all down and I've let them hang there till they dried lol

I bought the water fountain, and l bought the beard dragon bites and the one you mix...it in a blue packet w/ dragon holding the bag, he loves the food. Watching your video. Im buying more stuff.❤😂. And the water dish.

I use the dimmable heat mats for my corn snakes and I don't have heat spikes...I think it depends on the brand.
I'm actually excited Bec I wanted to get that kit u got that had the hammock vines and all that but I assumed it was be small and shitty that is pretty damn cool
I love that the hide is adjustable, so you can shape it however you want. Another unexpected product, but really cool
@@ellesreptiles that's funny I want to use what they call a hide as a bridge instead or a climbing thing like use it as a bridge to get to a higher spot in the enclosure

I don't see why not! 😊 And it seems like multiple people in the comments have/use the mats and love them. And it's enough to do a couple tanks (depending on size of course), or to be able to take one out and disinfect it, while having another to switch it out with.
I love how your Leopard Geckos is exploring! I've got two. I never get to see them. They are always huddled up together and strangely ON THE COLD side! 😮💨😢 Even with the temperature on the hot side being only 85. Definitely gonna get them that moist hide

There really is a major issue right now with access to halogen flood light bulbs. I use that for my beardies enclosure. I can now not find them in-store, and hardly online and if so very expensive. Thanks to govt for banning them….they need to reconsider this because it was an affordable option for pet supplies which now we are cornered into buying strictly pet bulbs which are notoriously expensive

No problem! It can really save quite a bit of money. I saved about $40 on a keyboard case for my ipad not too long ago, and it arrived in perfect condition.
How is the moist hide holding up?
I think that plastic mat could be good for quarantine tanks. Also the giant log hide could work for larger reptiles like boas, small monitors, or medium sized tortoises.
It would be great for quarantine tanks! I've put it away to use for exactly that. 🥰
I like the heat pad. It hadn't actually been folded. It was kinda rolled up a bit, but I don't think that would compromise the functioning.

I had seen these balls that you can hang in the tank. In the balls were bells. I was afraid to buy them bc if my beardie bit them, the plastic part of the ball or the bell seemed like a choking hazard to me. I was wondering if anyone did buy them and if your beardie liked them?

Bought the cave with clay top for humid hide. Doesn't work well for me . Drys out way to fast. Sending back.

Good reviews on the one dehumidity thing it looked like it had one button that said wet and one that said dry. Maybe you needed to press the dry button🤔. I like getting my stuff from stores so I can see if it's what I want so I don't have to deal with returns. That's just me. Not a big online buyer. I did enjoy seeing what you got.

You mean the wet/dry that had orange and green backgrounds? No button there, it's just showing that when the little orange beads turn green, they're wet. And at that point I guess you plug in the device and it dries itself out. Maybe I should plug it up to see if it does anything, or if it's actually just broken 🤔
I'm quite the opposite - I definitely prefer online shopping. There's just so many options for everything! 😅
@@ellesreptiles I know alot of people shop on line I just enjoy the interaction with people plus there is great family owned pet store in my town that will order the things they don't have in stock if I need it. Let us know after you plug it in if that makes a difference. That would be interesting test for it.

Is it fine if your leopard gecko that you just got doesn’t eat for a while
How long is a while? And how old are they? It's normal for them to go a few days - a week while they settle in.
I wanted to ask you is it possible for a Leopard Gecko to be overweight lol. We feed my sons gecko twice a week or when he pretty much lets us know he’s hungry. He’s a decent size and has a fat tail. Any advice would be appreciated. If you’d like I can send you a pic of him “Buddy” my son named him after the movie Elf lol
My leopard geckos name are poopa s/he is 6-7 months old and a Mack super snow. Then banana s/he is 2-3 months old and we don’t know what he is but he looks like a banana. You should make a part 2 of the tank review so I can get mine checked out even tho it’s been a nice set up for a month but I would love to see where I can improve 🫶 your videos helped me when I fist got poopa on May 22nd I watched your videos for about 6 mount a when I released I could get one, just waited tiol the summer to get him. I wasn’t expecting Banana, he’s a twig little fry no tail his skin in peeling and he has wounds from the other baby’s at the store and I thought I would just walk out with crickets…. got banana yesterday. So PLZ make a video on how to take care of a baby in his condition. Poopa has actually been so nice to Banana making sure he’s warm, he even tied striking at me when I tried picking banana up and he screamed he’s always fallowing banana around and he’s so nice to the small fry. But on a serious note please make a video of how to care for a leopard gecko when he’s in this kind of shape. Much appreciated. Thank you ☺️🫶🫶🫶

i had one dehumidifier like the one at the end, it didnt work either. i assume its just a bad product or its meant just for wardrobes or something

just a heads up for anyone thinking of it to avoid buying electrical reptile stuff on wish. they can have harmful effects and cause harm to reptiles
i bought two of the same dehumidifiers at the end of the video, they both increased my humidity. Such a shame as the reviews are good.
