By the way, speaking as somebody who has programmed computers for money for almost 4 decades, it’s pretty well-known in the industry that once a software engineer gets over 40 hours, their productivity has diminishing returns, and as they work longer hours in the week, they start making mistakes, to the point where giving them more work results in negative productivity, as they create more problems that have to be fixed.
Unless your truely diven like musk it doesnt work for too long.
I was thinking the same thing. Elon should really sell off Twitter for $5 billion and just take the ~$40 billion loss and refocus on Tesla. He'd make more money faster by keeping focused on what is his real baby, and he'd come out of this situation much stronger and more broadly liked (or at least less disliked by many) if he would acknowledge his hubris in buying Twitter.

Repubs said the (bad) timing of announcement would hurt the party. I’m hoping they now realize his obsession with revenge is much more important to him than the party itself. He’s not the only Republican who only wants to get elected to take revenge on their “enemies”. It’s the entire House GOP agenda which the House GOP leadership have planned for the next two years. They even called for several cabinet members of the Biden/Harris admin and Biden & Harris to all be impeached because they don’t agree with the laws / policies from the last two years. Not because they have done things that would be impeachable, no they just don’t like it that f.i. additional IRS agents are or will be hired to audit more wealthy people to prevent more tax fraud or evasion OR that everyday people are being helped with their finances OR attempts to combat climate change.
And the GOP in Congress have used their political power to take revenge several times. The or one of the most recent examples that I can think of is the multiple Cogressional investigations into Benghazi.
The Dems can be critized for a lot of things, but at least they got some things done over the last two years. It isn’t enough, but there are improvements that already have or will have a positive impact in everyday people’s lives. Whereas the GOP only wants to take things away from people, which will make the lives of a lot of people worse and not better.
He doesn’t care about any party or person but only himself. His plan is to escape justice. He knew he would probably get indicted after Midterm, that’s why he announced that he is running so soon.

Well, there is a House select committee investigating the abuse, expected to produce a report in the next few weeks, and Susan Collins has introduced Senate bill 4573, Electoral Count Reform and Presidential Transition Improvement Act of 2022, which currently has 15 Republican and 22 Democratic co-sponsors. There's still time for a lame duck Congress to prevent Kamala Harris from overturning the electoral count in 2024, if she was ever inclined to do such a thing.
