I’m pretty sure you can get paint to paint over the stone on your fireplace, like fire/heat resistant! or paint similar to ‘tile paint’ that may cover it for the time being 🤗 loving these vlogs! xxx
Should use fabalon on the grate. I used a white marble affect on mine and it looks so much better! So cheap and easy to do too! I got mine from wilkos for like £4 maybe cheaper! I would highly recommend it! And happy new home!! 🏡❤️
You could try marble contact paper for the fireplace. If that doesn't work with the heat you could find some of that spray paint peant for fireplaces, it withstands heat, and paint it gray

Try the Milan defuser from next home! It's my favourite scent ever & is so strong (but in a nice way not over powering) I have the largest size in my room & the whole floor smells of it! It's amazing x
Hi Roxy and Matt just a suggestion but have you thought about tiling the fireplace as tiles will resist heat and you then have full choice over your design with countless possibilities of tiles. cheaper than getting another fireplace xxx

Get a feliway cat room diffuser spray. Should just help to calm her down with all the changes that are going on at the moment. And maybe a big cat tree with a scratch post x
