We had a 1st gen Echo in our master bathroom for listening to music in the morning ruclips.net/user/postUgkxABghAEkaIDGZfHRBH3D3rBrlraNmnC71 and while in the shower. I didn't realize how tinny and awful the sound output on the original Echo was until we replaced it with the Studio. It was a sonic upgrade far beyond what I was expecting. Just wow. I love it because it's like having speakers IN the shower. My friend likes it because the music is so loud that she can no longer hear me singing. So that's a win-win.
Good comprehensive review! I just bought these for only £34 on Amazon because I listen to both audiobooks and music and what you said about the slightly fiddly nature of the equaliser is quite right- it's good to be able to switch between different modes for podcasts/audiobooks and music but it's difficult to know which one you're on. Basically, your only option to cycle through the 3 settings until you find the one that sounds the best to you for what you're listening to. I like the click buttons rather than touch-sensitive buttons as you know the earbuds have definitely registered each press from the sound and feel of the click. I also use Bose Soundlink II around-ear headphones which are 3-4 times the price of these, and the Ankers are only marginally less good in terms of sound quality. They are great for the price.
Charging my new set up right now, then will give my honest opinion. I purchased based on your exhaustive review. Thanks for your input and I'll let you know what I think. I'm mostly interested in a full body musical experience AND the ability to have a decent conversation on the phone without others complaining they can't hear me or that I can't hear them properly. I was concerned about how the music sounded and man they certainly pack that full body, deep base that I'm looking for in my music. I'm a drummer so I want to play along to my music. I'm a a rush fan, a tool fan, a classic rock a country rock fan and these buds for a very economical price of $50 on Amazon do the trick. Occasionally my girlfriend complains that she can't hear me that great during phone calls however she is the only one that has complained. No one else so maybe she's just used to the iPhone wired audio mic experience which is very sensitive. Not sure but until I hear someone else complain I'm going to go with these things work great. And are worth the $50 that I paid.

can we get a hyperx pulsefire core vs razer deathadder essential, im really struggling to decide, my hand size is 15x8, super small, i know, the razer death adder is good, but i use sort of a palm+claw hybrid on my current lenovo m100 mouse, its not that curled, the bottom half of my hand is resting on the backside of the mouse, and then the top of my hand is curled, you can just give a regular comparison mostly through out the video, and just recommend which one to get given the circumstances, it would help a lot
I actually have a pair of these and I like them. I do find that it may be your phone that may cause your different ways of changing the volume. On a samsung galaxy m51 I could only turn the volume up on my phone with the earbuds. On a xiaomi poco x3 nfc I was able to turn the volume up manually on my earbuds and turn the volume up more if it wasn't to my liking.
I would say they are the same sound quality. If you care about calls then the microphone is better on the Life P2 but the Life A1 are more secure in your ears so are better for sports

By didn't test I mean I didn't sit with a stop watch for 9 hours. Neither did I ever listen to music non stop for long enough for them to die in a single use. The estimation is based of after 4 or 5 hours of use they would say low battery. Or after using for a few hours, putting them in the case for a short time and then using them again they'd die or say low battery. Ultimately it's quite a rough estimate. The thing is battery life is so dependent on volume, type of music, are they being used for calls etc. Ultimately I just used them as my main pair of headphones for a few weeks and gave an estimate based off my memory of my experience. Hopefully that explains it a bit

Comfi yes but poor fit, fall out of ear depending on your earshape. All the optional wings and plugs don't fit my ear and buds will fall out after somen15 min of wear. Sound I poor if they don't fit deep inside ear canal, which they don't in my case
That's very weird, they fit super securely for me. They were good with no wing at all but with the small wing if is squashed the rubber into my ear they were extra secure. Maybe you can send them back and get some different headphones?

Personally I have not had this issue. The microphone was not super loud but people could hear me okay. You could maybe try with a different phone and possibly reset them. It might say how to in the instructions or online. If it still doesn't work you could contact Soundcore and maybe they could help

How do you use the microphone for video recording on your phone? It's not working for me. I have both the life dot 2 and the soundcore p2. The audio is great, but then the microphone it uses on call and video recordings are coming from the built-in phone / ipad mic

Yeah on other phones it worked fine, it's really weird. Overall I really like them

I'm pretty sure it's not possible with the default camera app, I had to use a different app which let me choose the microphone. Hopefully this helps
