It's a good documentary to watch and learn some other culture.i never been interested to korean although I remember the Korean War.but since i. started watching drama I became interested.Living away from the city is good.
yes. ppl used to use outhouse manure and farm animals, esp. chicken dungs for manure. i don't think they use human manure that much like the olden days, but from what i heard of, they used it for the crops. it's a very practical idea to recycle and use it as manure.

I don't agree.Also I didn't say it with spite. I have many korean friends who have this problem and it does seem to be a serious problem in Korea. People are stressed out and under high pressure to marry well and do good at school and acquire a high status in society. It is not a prejudice. I love Korea and no country is perfect but I believe it to be true that many ( not all) Korean parents enjoy boasting about their children a little bit too much...
