The silver ring thing on the game is to prevent spindle damage (when it cracks in the middle), or if it's cracked it's used to reinforce it to prevent further cracking.

what you found was one of those screws for that by the way. if you look in the middle take a screw driver you should be able un screw it and it put in one of those wholes that is missing.

8:25 Sometimes GameStop puts a ring around the disc when it comes in with a crack around that area. I have a game in my collection with that ring too.
They did the store reset the red panels overlaid the wall slats for the Nintendo section and the big posters with the plexi are the playstation section main posters each section usually Has one
