    Best tutorial (for value) I've found on the topic so far. Thank you. Been looking all day.

      Aw! Thanks. my channel is very light, it's just my hobby, I don't give a hoot about "Monetization" ! I only post things I've found useful that others can learn from, and maybe learn something myself in return. I've been wanting to do a video on Zoom & webcams (or how to make your own webcam), but been too busy. Stay tuned.

    Really a great video! Thanks for sharing, Mike! I'm trying this out with 3 ft 1600 lumen 4000k LED lights. Started with all of the clamp lights but they act as spot lights so it wasn't ideal.

    Great video. Like you, previously, I've been messing with small LED's and to many hotspots. This will save me a lot of time and money. Thank you.

    What are you using to light your subject and typically what ISO are you shooting at? Do the T8 lights have any advantages? Thanks!

      I think any long tube light will work, the key is make sure the green screen is evenly lit and does have hot spots or poorly lit spot. The Green Screener App tells you what kind of job you done.... there's loads of YTs on Green Screener. I think you'll find ISO has nothing to do with the green screen, only the subject; I'm not an expert, but that's my understanding.. It's $63 for Hyperikon LED T5 4-pack, (4FT, 22W, 2200lm, 5000K,).... 2200 lms/tube, so 4400 lumens per pair per side of the green screen. Searching Amazon, I see they do make a T8 4-pack for $44..... but it doesn't appear to come with the daisy chain, so you have either buy the daisy chain cables or a fixture that you can hang vertically on a light stand like the video

      Oops I misread your question. re:Subject Lighting --- I have a posting on Light Panels ruclips.net/video/sHn6fcwwwtY/видео.html --- I love the one I have, it's the only way to go. They're pricey @ $500, but you get what you pay for. Again I'm not an expert, just an enthusiast posting what I found to work.

    the link in your description takes me to Amazon and the lights that you recommend are now unavaliable. Where else can I buy these? Thanks

    What type of fabric can I use?
    I don't have access to green screen fabric. Should it be matte or glossy? Thin or thick?

    Interesting content Sir. I am playing with fluorescent lights with my blue/greenscreen a.t.m. ... whenever I reach that nice status in greenscreener that you got in HI mode (which is incredible) I'll party with all my friends. If you like I'll give you an update.
    Thanx for the crisscross hint!

    Did these work well for your green screen do you still use them??

    • @Irish69Mafia
      @Irish69Mafia  5 лет назад

      YES, per the video "Green Screener" App, still the same.... I did one yesterday using my Galaxy Note 9 (in a hurry, didn't use my GH5), it worked perfectly. Took 1 sec in FCPX to add the Keyer.

    So you didn't end up with flicker issues from the LEDs? That sounds promising

    • @thatsaloadofcrap
      @thatsaloadofcrap 5 лет назад

      Haven't noticed any flicker. If you watch this video, I don't think you'll see any. My last post [ ruclips.net/video/2TL38xRpPLc/видео.html ] was green screened (I got lazy any used my Note 9 to record the video)... Flicker isn't a common problem with this type of LED.

      @@thatsaloadofcrap what are you using to light the subject? What ISO do you use? Also they also have T8 lights, what's the difference? Thanks!

    Hi Mike
    What is the size of Metal brackets you used. I mean what’s the size of the brackets screw whole.

    • @Irish69Mafia
      @Irish69Mafia  5 лет назад

      Not sure, just a standard cheap hardware store "L" bracket, maybe 3/8".... it fit the low cost lighting pole male connector, not high tech, but it's been (whoa!) 2+ years, still working

      Worth a try if they don't create hot spots. As I've noted the in the video, the Green Screener App will tell you ... It's $63 for Hyperikon LED T5 4-pack, (4FT, 22W, 2200lm, 5000K,).... 2200 lms/tube, so 4400 lumens per pair per side of the green screen. If you have more than 4400 lumen (brighter than what I used), you'd need to worry about subject lighting.

    To light your green screen, would you use the 50w LED flood light instead? Thanks :-)

    • @thatsaloadofcrap
      @thatsaloadofcrap 7 лет назад

      LED floods are problematic. The problem is Floods are spots, you don't get even light, hot spots. (same as my pile of LEDs in the video)

    • @Irish69Mafia
      @Irish69Mafia  5 лет назад

      better late than never...... No, flood lights cause hot spots. Use the Green Screener App to prove it to yourself. They make keying a whole lot more trouble
