Thanks for this. Had to replace regulators and motors on both rear windows in my 2001 Highlander. One question though, how do I find the tray that the window sits in that attaches to the regulator arm? I can't find a listing for that thing anywhere on the interwebs. Problem is being 20 years old, it's starting to disintegrate, and once the powder works it's way into the rubber, the thing gets loose and falls off the window. I mean, I cleaned the crap out of it so hopefully it holds for another 20 years, but still...wouldn't mind putting on a new one.

Why do you need to take the rubber off the top of the door before removing the window?

So I followed the steps but when I put the window all the way down the square comes out the end of the rail and now not sure how to stop this from happening and have to reinstall all over again. What am I doing wrong?
