Your right up the road from us in Dallas.
Love that Forrest. One of the best parts of living In Oklahoma is the easy access to one of my favorite destinations. Would love to see some videos focused on your setups. I recently sold my Jeep Commander that I used to overland and will be picking up a Renegade within the next week. I likely won’t do any big trips but will do some light overlanding and would love to see some ideas.
InformalGreeting Alan and I are working on a big project that we will be announcing soon. Part of the project will include us giving a detailed breakdown of our rigs.
Heyyy! Great video! We're SO jealous of your trip! Stay safe and have fun!
Wakanda Renegade Thank you guys, can’t wait to see more pictures of your Renegade on Instagram!! Y’all take amazing pictures.
Love the rigs
Thank you
yey more content! I've since got some 225/70/16 cooper AT3 4S's installed (LOVE THE NEW LOOK) - and I'm so anxious to get them dirty. I need proper recovery points before I can feel totally confident. wish this was standard fare on all Jeeps regardless of trim. At any rate- excellent footage. Perhaps one day I'll join you folks off in nature to take in some of that glorious view!
Midgear22 congrats on the new tires, and thank you. We are already looking forward to our next trip, next month. It’ll be a complete different landscape of we’re we just were. 😁
Great fun and great video! A bit more extreme than the video we did with our Jeep Renegade a few weeks back. Keep on exploring; looks like a beautiful region.
Thank you! 😁
Great video thanks for posting
Fabien Cortez thank you for the kind words!
Cute renegades 😄 even cuter trailers haha
They’re fun, and our wives love their Renegades.
Looks like you had fun !
We did!
You all went through Arkansas didn't you for a bit. That first bridge crossing looks just like the one close to my mothers house in Winslow/Hazel Valley Arkansas
We stayed on the Oklahoma side for this one.
I noticed the rear avid bumper on the front running renegade. I am about to do the install of one on my jeep. Any heads up or advice? Much appreciated. Love the video. That area is absolutely beautiful.
Shane Toni Richardson if you can get a second pair of hands to help it will make it go much smoother. The bolt that holds the swing arm is also how you adjust it. It works like a chamber bolt. Other than that take your time be patient.
@@Reediscovr hey thanks. That bolt on the swing arm is really sensitive to adjustment. I bought a motorcycle jack to hold it up and in place. It worked well for the second pair of hands. Keep making videos. Enjoy watching them.
Shane Toni Richardson happy to hear you were able to get it completed!!! We will definitely keep making videos.
This video made me subscribe
Thank you!
I have a 2015 trailhawk renegade and I was wondering if you changed out the transmission oil on your renegades? Can you do it yourself or dealer? They want to charge me $850 for it. But I heard it’s a sealed transmission or something. I don’t know a thing about cars so. I took it in to get the coolant changed and it was $250 for that. Mine is the 9 speed automatic. I can’t find any information about transmission oil changes etc. looks like you guys do your own work on these renegades. It would be much appreciated if you can make videos of maintenance on the renegades. The coolant looked too complicated for me so I just took it into the dealer lol. Oil changes are Easy. Spark plugs as well and filters. Do these have steering fluid that needs change as well? Also what about differential oil changes like they do on wranglers?
NICE! This is on my list of places to go. we miss y'all!! anyone up for a New Mexico run Memorial Day weekend?
We miss you guys too. I wish Julie and I could make the trip at the end of May, but I have to work. Have you checked with Alan?
@@Reediscovr not yet, still in the planning stage, wish y'all could go!!
Mavis Mayhem so do we!!! Are you still planning the same trail we were talking about before?
@@Reediscovr probably the second leg of the Enchanted Rockies trail at least.
Mavis Mayhem that sounds nice!
Binging all your videos! May I ask what type of trailer you got? Maybe next time I'm visiting family in Texas, I'll be able to join one of your meets!
Thank you. We do a walk around of the trailer on our other channel Renegade Expedition.

Would you mind a KL coming along on your next trip? This looks so fun
Justin Sharp we do not discriminate against other models. Though our club is based on the Jeep Renegade, we respect all builds. Where are you based?
North Texas Jeep Renegades NTJR Houston and I don’t mind a trip to get somewhere
Justin Sharp that’s not too far from us. If you’re on Facebook, you should join our group so we can try to set something up some time.
North Texas Jeep Renegades NTJR just did thanks
Justin Sharp just approved.
What roof rack you guys use?Cool vid.Sub.Sooo jealous wish to be there with my Rene:)
John Doe the racks on both rigs were custom built by us.
@@Reediscovr That will be a cool vid since prices on them are shocking. They look pro👍
John Doe that wouldn’t be a bad idea. But even the cost to build them can get up there, depending on materials. IE the white one costed about 250 because it was built out of square tube aluminum to keep weight as low as possible. The black one was built out of metal conduit.
Where are you guys located?
Primarily North Texas in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, but we have members from all over.
What are your thoughts on Portal gearbox lift on the Renegade..do you think it could work or not..
Steven Charles Sorry, I don’t have much experience with portal gear lifts.
do you have the coordinates by chance for this camp spot you guys used? if not how would i find it? where exactly are you guys?
Justin 34.821673, -94.775676
It’s a tight trail that will require high clearance.
@@Reediscovr now does this take you right on that actual camp site or just the area? Is there a name of the camping rental place or is this just like a first come first serve type of thing?
Justin the trail leading to the campsite. There is only one way in and out. It is very much first come first serve.
Ok cool! Anything around there to do?
Justin Gillaspie not really. It’s a good place to get away and relax, maybe do a little hiking.
Wash-e-taw is the correct pronunciation
From the Ouachita Mountains in Hot Springs, lots of great places to go!!! Enjoy the videos
Spencer thanks for the clarification. Sounds nothing like how it’s spelled.
North Texas Jeep Renegades I know!!! It’s crazy, the story the older folks, mostly deceased, make about how it got its name, hilarious
Spencer what’s the story?
North Texas Jeep Renegades well supposedly, back a long time ago some natives were walking up and down the river and stepped in some sh*t and the native said to the other one, “Wa Shit Aww(off)” My grandpa who’s still alive will tell the story after he’s been drinkin and go into this long story but that’s the gist 😂
