  • “I was astonished by the Chinese influence and activity in the Solomons”.
Bernard Logan says a “leaked version” of a security agreement between China and the incumbent Prime Minister of the Solomon Islands shows that China has been promised ‘increased control’ on the islands, right on Australia’s doorstep.

The US wouldn’t invade Australia though. That’s the difference. Australia needs the protection of the US, as our own military is a joke. Do you think China doesn’t know this? Looking at China’s communist government, I’m pretty sure they’re not interested in freedom and democracy. Everything China does is for the benefit of China alone.

Will you not be happy if the CCP help out with what we really need..to make our country self-sufficient? Solomon Island is not at the door step of Australia. It is 3200 km from Australia and 4 and half hour flight from Australia. It is ludicrous to think it is at door step of Australia. Another show of Anglo Saxon colonial mindset. Solomon as a country is free to sign anything they like without taking order from the colonial master and war mongering US.
