Surah 46.9 "I am not the first messenger ever sent, nor do I know what will happen to me or you. I only follow what is revealed to me."
He also said that the believers should consult the Jews and christians if they didn't understand, and with all the contradictions in the Quran, you'd expect them not to (few seem to use the Quran as a devotional)

AP, you have already gone through leaving your religion (Islam), and are suffering the aftereffects of that (rejection, rage from others, etc.). You are currently in another belief system (atheism) and rather enjoy your current status. I was schooled in a catholic convent, all 12 years of it. My family is orthodox Hindu, belonging to 2 different sects (mother's side & father's side)...
Safe to say, I've seen enough religious squabbles in life. In my family, city, other cities...
But...BUT! Did I also say, I was born and brought up in Calcutta? THE MOST (perhaps only one) progressive place when it comes to pointless things like these! I'm a Bengali, and we have risen far above race, religion & caste. Christmas & Easter celebrations in Calcutta is a "festival" which foreigners come to see. As well as Eid!
I am also aware that minorities in other states or small towns are very oppressed. The current govt has a huge religious agenda and not all state govt are strong enough to allow freedom of belief. I've seen it. I have catholic & muslim friends who live/work in other cities. I am very fortunate, yes, but I know most others are not.

Especially Christians who literally don't get into fights and issues or terrorism, are oppressed for their faith and accused of conversion even if all we do is help someone cross the road.

Does satan benefits from the trinity doctrine?
The biggest stumbling block for Muslims regarding Christianity is the trinity doctrine.
If we would preach Oneness like Yeshua in John 17:3......how many Muslims would have coverted much easier?
Is it possible that satan influenced the Christian faith by introducing the trinity just to make the gap between Muslims and Christians an almost impossible hurdle to overcome?
When we consider Yeshua's View on the Godhead to be the absolute truth...satan benefits from the trinity doctrine in two ways...
1) leading believers away from the truth of Yeshua ( John 3:16 ALERT)
2) for Muslims it becomes almost insurmountable to convert to the truth.
