Neighbors react to Florida man who shot his wife then chased after ambulance

A local man is being charged with first degree murder. According to St. Pete Police, 28-year-old, Devin Hansen shot his wife and then chased after the ambulance that she was in. "As I was going to bed all of a sudden there all these lights flickering through the windows, so I come out and all my neighbors are out and we are all looking down the block and we see four or five cop cars," said Dorothy Lehner, who lives in St. Pete. Dorothy Lehner has lived in St. Pete's Holiday Park Neighborhood for years. She said she woke up Thursday morning to a shocking scene just three doors down from her home.

Couple? Florida man? They were married but neither even lived in the same state as the other one, and niether lived in Florida when this happened.

The shooting took place in HIS PARENTS' HOUSE.
They were _visiting_ his parents. The assumption is that he was previously a Floridian. Whether he was or wasn't, his parents certainly are presently residents of Florida. Where the MARRIED COUPLE currently legally reside was not specified in any of the several news articles I found.
From a statement of one of his childhood friends in one news article, the man has longstanding serious anger issues, and during an argument, both his mother and his wife told him to leave the house. He got a gun, threatened the wife, then shot her & assaulted his mother... then chased the ambulance taking his mortally injured wife to the hospital (per statement of cop who rode in the ambulance with her).

The woman was living in Michigan with their 1 year old. The man was living in Virginia. They were estranged. I went around my ex's family after we broke up. It happens.
