- More than 100 people, most of them from out of state, meet in St. Paul to discuss the history and future of "Hmoob Tebchaws". Seng Xiong, head of the organization, was reportedly arrested in California of fraud for stealing more than 1.3 million dollars from mostly elders by promising them a Hmong country. Representatives of "Hmoob Tebchaws" tell 3HMONGTV NEWS that Seng Xiong's arrest was fabricated and that it was a drama set up by the government. They claim Seng Xiong is innocent but not sure his whereabouts. They also stated that people donate money on their own will to the organization for a good cause, a country that Hmong can call their own. (Report filed by 3HMONGTV.)

Ok I know someone who is a very devoted follower of these Hmong Tebchaws people. Let me tell you a little bit about their beliefs. These are just some basic beliefs. If you start to talk to them even more than this, IT GETS EVEN CRAZIER. Yes, this sounds like the writings and crazy ramblings of a schizophrenic person but read through some of them and you will see how crazy it is.
THIS IS WHAT HMONG TEBCHAWS PEOPLE ACTUALLY BELIEVE
1. If you abandon your religion (whether it is Christianity or traditional Hmong religion) and join their Kav Meej religion, your children and their children in the future will have a lifespan of over 250 years.
2. The new Hmong country is going to span from the eastern coast of northern Vietnam all the way to the southern coast of Myanmar so the new Hmong country will stretch from sea to sea just like America.
3. Hmong people are the original human beings on this planet. Dinosaurs are not real because Hmong people were created first that is why we deserve to rule this earth. Right now Hmoob lub kee (the era of Hmong) has arrived so the Hmong Teb chaws people will be getting our country in South East Asia but eventually we will rule the half world from Asia to the Middle East.
4. The colors blue and black are the powers of Hmong people. (I actually have no idea what this means). The black cloth represents the soul and blue represents the fact that God lives with Hmong people.
5. Satan fears the colors blue and black so Hmong people are the only ones that he is afraid of (because we are blue and black remember?)
6. Only Hmong people have 4 souls that is why we are able to summon lighting and rainstorms and other natural events. When I asked them to show me proof, they ignored me.

8. Chinese, Cambodians, Lao, and Vietnamese people believe in the color red and yellow and they believe in the Dragon and Buddha. Hmong people believe in Ntsuj plig and the color blue and black that is why all the other races hate us.
9. In 2008, President asked Mongolians to fight against the Chinese and guarantees that the US will support them but Mongolians said no. When I asked them about their source on this, they were unable to provide any news articles or any evidence of this proposal.

Since Mongolians refused to fight against the Chinese, it now falls on the Hmong to fight the Chinese so when World War 3 starts (Hmong Teb Chaws members believe world war 3 will start in the next couple of months) the USA will give land to Hmong people so that we can help them fight against the Chinese. But remember we are god's people right? So why do we have to wait on the command of the United States if we are god's chosen people? I have no idea.
11. in 2006 President Mr. Chang came to America specifically came to America to ask Hmong people "if they were able to gain a country, what would they do with the Hmong people in China?" (Strange since in 2006 the Chinese President's name was Hu Jintao).

I think the people that made negative comments are not very smart either. Hmong Tebchaws's vision and what they are going after is possible and they reserved the rights to do it under United Nation guidelines. It can be done but just way too difficult. It almost impossible, at best. Many of the comments were called out such stupid but you guys don't know as much as those people at Hmong Tebchaws knows.

Mental, mental, mental. I believe in Hmong pride but to scam thousands to Hmong elders of their needed money for daily existence, I am very appalled.
I understand and respect this group decision at what they do, but I think those that do not agree with their mission wants to see proof of something instead of just preaching.
Did a quick research on Article 26 on the UN Website. I don't see how this article is an open door to Hmong people to have a tebchaws, but to see more as a support for people with disabilities and how to continue and support with rehab services. What is your opinion. You could read about it below.

speak, and wish to underline just a few points on the need for a specific
article on habilitation and rehabilitation.
This formulation of Article 26,
which represents a paradigm shift from a medical model to a social model, is a
good step towards a rights based approach to habilitation and rehabilitation.
This means that persons with disabilities are not the objects of interventions
by professionals, but are empowered to make decisions about their lives and
bodies.
Habilitation and rehabilitation includes
a broad range of comprehensive activities including training in ADL -
Activities of Daily Living, adaptation of the home and assistive technology.
Millions of people with
disabilities in Africa, Asia-Pacific, Latin America and other parts of the world live a
difficult life in poverty because of the lack of adequate habilitation and
rehabilitation. This is why we support the addition of the words “at affordable
costs” in regard to rehabilitation services.
Finally, we support the proposal
from Kenya
and Bosnia and Herzegovina
to ensure that training of professionals includes persons with disabilities.
