Yes, KZ is super creative. For me, Say Something is her best performance on Singer 2018. Even the original singer- A Great Big World- praised KZ for her stunningly emotional interpretation of the song.
The song was unexpectedly changed to another by the Singer 2018 organizers a day before without the Big Band assisting and only the guitarist so that KZ had less time to prepare. But KZ a creative artist from Southeast Asia is combat-ready no matter what songs to render with the audience onstage literally on tears, and million netizens across the planet teary-eyed.
When KZ perform this song she was sick. Ans it was not supposed her song choice, the management asked her to sing this song because the band don’t have enough time because this was during Chinese New Year. So KZ called back home asked this filipino guitarist to come to China to help her on this performance.
wow... i didn't know that. the guitarist is amazing. i noticed too on her voice that she sound a little sick, which by the way, added beauty to her vocals and performance. i love her. :)
