KZ is from the Philippines and went to China to represent the country in this show. She has more covers you might like... And she was rapping in the Filipino language, Tagalog. She had a some kind of throat surgery early on in life so she can't sing pretty high notes so her crusade is introduce a genre that doesn't need belting. She made a big name for herself because of this. I believe the arrangement is also her own original piece... Hi. Im from North Carolina and i got this recommended by a friend from the PH and it is awesome.
Her interpretation of "Say Something" is also an exceptional interpretation of a song one has become complacent hearing mimicked by others. Again it has a lovely guitar lead. It has an entirely different heart-wrenching feel that holds the audience spell-bound. Her other songs from that competition also well worth viewing (I liked her version of Royals though it was her final song before being eliminated from the show)

KZ is in episode 6,7,8,9,10,12 and 13. She debuted in China on episode 5 which is the Rolling In The Deep. The singers on the show will win from amazing song choice/interpretation/connection to the audience (favoritism is also a case). Not all singers on the show have Dimash's amazing vocal range. KZ adds her style to each song, she has a voice we can distinguish and a great stage presence. She is one of the top singers of 2018, Jessie J is the winner.

Concise, but accurate reaction. The Singer competition has showed that if Dimash is the most outstanding voice of the planet, then KZ is probably one of the best show-biz performers. I think we evidence the rebirth of Asia, and i'm looking attentively what are the messages Asia is ready to bring to herself and the other world. What i really value in Di and KZ performances right now is their interpretations. They are not less (and sometimes more) interesting than the original ones.
