- Join Graeme for some storm beach fishing alone on the coast. There is nothing like the feeling of freedom when you fish from the beach. Graeme grabs just a few hours fishing at St. Audries Bay in the Bristol Channel in an effort to beat an incoming storm. Love the enthusiasm even in the rain and cold. Rubbish left by fishers just gives the general public a bad impression; I particularly dislike empty bait packets and birds nests of line that have been cut off. There was a 3 metre bait board there, the top of the log didn't need to damage the lid of the bait container. Look forward to your next video.

Graham!!!! Great video mate!! Get round onto dunster beach about 100 yards up to the left! buddy! Lots more tide and huge congers up to 20lbs+ also smalleyed rays to 13 lbs! Perfect sized tides! But prepare with 80-100 lbs snoods!! Congers do bite through it!!💪🏼💪🏼
Probably be 200 anglers there by next weekend !!
not many people fish it! It’s a good time of year! Could also pick up a few codling on the shotgun rod if you can get some lug from one of the beaches or a shop! And if you catch a whiting, don’t be afraid to whack it on whole in the channel usually picks up the better congers!💪🏼👍

I agree with you about the sound of the receding water as the tide is edding. Also make a specific sound when it turns and starts to flood. I have especially noticed this digging bait. Even with my back to the water I can tell when it's starts to flood because the sound it makes. This is more of a gent lap lap lap sound

Great content Graham, you remind me very much of my dad, your videos & general peaceful demeanour have helped me though a really tough period of illness with Rheumatoid arthritis, I finally recovered but had lost much of what I was, whilst sat watching one of your videos I literally chucked my gear together & headed off for the night & recorded my session. I feel like a new man & look forward to getting out & doing some more. Thanks again & appreciate it if youd checking out my first video.

We do get quite a lot of feedback and pm's from people that have been helped through a difficult period by our films...I have no idea how it works,but if it does it makes it even more worthwhile and believe it or not these type of comments actually motivate me more to get out and make the films. One of my favoured venues, but weed can be an issue there, especially after a bit of a blow.
Usually fish further left down the beach, but there seems to be less area to retreat to at high tide than there used to be.

Correct ....I used Mike and Charlotte to catch my Tarpon and Cuda bait of Pinfish...Kept them happy and got me bait...Win-Win I reckon.
