I probably watched every video out there about the Supper Meteor. As soon as ordering became available, I went down to my local dealer and ordered mien which so far is the first and only supper meteor out in the wiled of Idaho. I had to winterize my bike a few weeks ago as Idaho is now firmly in winter. So for the time being I am bake to watching videos on this amazing machine and weighting for spring. I got my bike for 8000 out the door.
@Kingjames313 I got to see a shotgun up close at my local dealership when I got the inshal service done on my Super meteor. Because it shares many of the same components, it will probably have the same perks and vices of the supper meteor. It is shorter if not in reality definitely in feel. The foot position is different, depending on your preference it may be more comfortable than the Supper meteor. It lacks fender mounts for saddle bags and back rests. It is only 100 USD MSRP cheaper than the Supper meteor. With all the perks of the Supper Meteor I would recommend it over the shotgun mostly because of the ease of accessories install.
Hi, thanks for the very interesting test. I have a Meteor 350 which I am very satisfied with, except the power is a bit low. So I was thinking about the Super, but now that I've seen the Shotgun coming on the market, I think I'll go on that one, also because it has the footpegs less advanced and is a bit more "compact," that is, like the Meteor. Greetings from Italy, ride safe!
Corrado thanks so much for watching from Italy 🇮🇹 that is AMAZING. You’re the first that’s let me know they were watching from there! So cool! Love the Meteor ☄️ I agree between the Super and the Shotgun I’m going Shotgun. Can’t wait till they are available to test ride. Happy Holidays!
It’s a great bike. It’s awesome!!! I had mine in astral(dark)green just in time for Christmas. The forward feet position gives it a”cruiser” feel, but it can also be a lower seated standard. The bike is basically is own category. It has a sporty feel to it. But its old fashioned style gives it heritage. It eats curves for breakfast and has road presence.
Really cool brother. I'm from Washington but moved to East Tennessee. About to get a RE SM. Same bike as your bro. Really cool man. East Tennessee is God's country for bikes bro. You wouldn't believe it. Anyways, great videos homeboy. Keep this shit up!
Thanks dude! I super appreciate it man. Congrats on the new bike that’s sick!!! I lived up in Lynwood/Everett when I was in my teens and spent a summer living in Downtown Seattle near the Space Needle. Dude I bet that is a great place to ride!!!
@leemoreno7435 totally dude one time on a trip from visiting my Grandparents in Eugene heading back to Everett we stopped at a Dari Queen about half way….. I was running in to use the bathroom and I saw all these people sitting at a booth looking at me…. When I came out of the bath room they asked me my name…..it was o w of my former school mates from Springfield and his family…. His Dad was our Boy Scout leader. Such a small world 🌎
Here a 6'3 Meteor 350 owner. I look like a Super Mario Kart characther on it, but, afther 1 year, in one or two days i will have my new Super Meteor 350 and looks amazing 😎
Would love to have you back to the shop and have you do some more Bike reviews! That would be really cool to see more of them on the channel. We just got a bunch of new bikes in for the 2024 year. you gotta ride some!
Please tell me Rob has managed to put over 1k miles on the clock within those first three weeks before shooting this video. I hate being a party pooper and I am probably going to get some backlash here, but I am pretty sure he shouldnt be hitting 70mph on a brand new bike. Running-in new engine is crucial for the lifespan of our machines and if I remember correctly, first 300 miles you should do only up to 40mph, then for the next 1k miles 50mph is a limit. After that the bike is ready for anything we throw at it. Unless we dont plan to keep the bike for years. Then it doesnt really matter, does it. What's done is done, but if my comment helps at least one person to start a relationship with their new bike the right way for years to come, it was definitely worth sticking my neck out. Lots of grip to you all!
Luka I appreciate your comment and the concern and your point of view. I also understand the concept of not aking the bike to high speeds before hitting 1000 miles. But I will personally disagree In the spirit of nothing hostile but just my own experience and opinion. Yes I agree it’s not ideal to take a bike to high revs during the break in period but that’s more of an aggressive or abrupt redline. Should you sustain it for miles and miles …absolutely not. But taking a bike relatively gently to 70 isn’t going to hurt the bike long term. Many folks have no choice when they get a bike to take it up to highway speeds relatively early as they have to get the bike home or take it back and forth to work. Not to mention anyone else who test rides it before you…. Lord knows….our local Harley Dealer is right on the side of the I-5 freeway ….they practically take you straight there, as well as some nice curvy country lane….And yep it’s 65 mph…..Heck Just to get the bike home from the dealership plenty of people have to take it on the highway at the very least at speeds of 55….Honestly you shouldn’t keep a bike at any sustained speed for long during the break in and that includes say riding it at 30mph for miles and miles .Up and down and through the gears is actually ideal just don’t ride it abusively….. and yes I do agree keep it to lower speeds as much as possible during the break in. And 1 last thing…. When I took the Shotgun 650 home as a press bike… I saw on the speedometer it was at like around 700 miles on the clock…. that was gonna be a problem because I had an hour and a half ride on pretty much freeway all the way back home from Portland….. I asked the folks at the dealership if it was gonna be ok just to make sure….theses guys are like a legit old school style mom and pop shop that take apart bikes all the time…..I said is it ok to ride home not the freeway…Is it “broke in”? They were like oh yeah it’s totally broke in dude ride it like you stole it 😈 Anywhooooo just my 2 cents.
Honestly I don’t Chad. Also at this point we are basically seeing these pretty stock it’s gonna be fun to see them getting customized…. I wanna see one full on with apes and a sissy bar :)
