I hope you have bought one by now. I got mine in 2023. Six thousand trouble free cruising. My only advice is to buy one with the touring seat. And replace the rear suspension with something better than Royal Enfield has installed? This year I took my RE to Cornwall, just over a 300 mile non stop ride. Two up all the way and ran at 70mph without any problems. And cost less than £25 to get there! In total we did over 900 miles when we arrived home. I've ridden other RE modules with harder seats. Glad mine has the touring seat! Safe enjoyable cruising 👍.
I just this past weekend purchased an Astral Blue Meteor 650. Upgraded from my Meteor 350. Here in southwestern Oregon, the 650 is perfect "off the shelf". Set the rear suspension to the "3", or "mid" position. Ride is perfect. My 650 is a Demo from the Texas Launch Event this past October with only 900 miles on it. It included the first service and the entire RE Launch Kit; all for $6500 US. I have added a GIVI topbox and side cases. Absolutely an outstanding bike, no issues, and no downside. If anyone has any doubts or concerns about this machine, discard them and purchase this motorcycle.
My biggest worry with the Interceptor is the tubed tyres. I have had one puncture so far, due to a nail in the rear tyre. Fortunately, I rode home without a problem as there was just a slow leak. The next morning , while wheeling the bike around, I could tell that the rear tyre was flat. Removing the wheel was easy enough and I had a new tube installed locally. It then took two of us two hours to re-install the wheel. There are some spacers to position and being the first time it probably took longer, but it was quite fiddly. I dread being stranded away from home with a puncture in my tubed tyres. When I bought replacement tyres recently, I did ask if the shop could do a tubeless installation, but they were not able to do it.
Yeah, specked wheels are not really designed to have tubeless tyres sadly. The air would escape from the spokes. Hence the beauty of alloy wheels. If you changed the wheels it would be possible, but costly 🙏
Very interested to watch your "shocking video" and used it as a guide for setting my SM650 rear suspension. "If you live in Europe.." you say, the implication being that we (I am in Scotland) will have better roads. I can tell you that after decades of neglect, the roads here are no better than third-world conditions. Every road is festooned with pot-holes. I will be watching with great interest to see what happens if you upgrade yours.
I never knew you had roads in Scotland 😂 it will be a while I’m afraid, as I take a month off to return to UK to visit family as soon as school break happens. But thanks for your support. You want to be at least on setting 2, and if above 100kg, maybe 3 or 4. Good luck 🙏
Getting the Supper meteor a little late is a good thing. That gave royal enfield time to fix some bugs. I have noted at least one of those updates in a video I made about my Supper meteor.
@@Teacher-T-Thailand ruclips.net/video/NRJT2Udgxjw/видео.html hear is the link to the video I made right after I got my bike. The 2024 model year unseen updates if they happened at all would be fixing the premature break wear and chain stretch issues. Before I bought my super meteor I literally watched every RUclips video on the bike to find out what were the problems with it and was I willing to live with them in exchange for the comfort of the bike. The roads in Idaho are very good so pot holes and chopped up roads is not an issue. My biggest issue is bad knees and being 6 foot 2. I needed a bike that had more power than my 230cc Honda and a leg forward seating position. Idaho has been experiencing a February heat wave with day time temperatures between 40-55 degrees Faran Hight so I am very tempted to de winterize my bike and start riding. I got the bike with 2 miles on it and currently have 60 on it.
i own a gt650, ive been reducing weight, fitting yss shocks saved 1 kg per shock, exhaust saved about 12kg,fitting lithium ion battery saved 4.3kg,i removed grab rail, rear footpegs, toolkit, the bike really starts to fly now
those LEDs will be great in complete darkness but when you have incoming lights from other sources, there you will find the halogens are better it seems
With the after market lLED light I have bought for my old Honda I would agree with you. But on this bike I have no issues. Easy to adjust with one screw for the perfect height.
I put those yss shocks on my super meteor. While not perfect (a big-enough bump still throws you up off the seat), I feel they’re much better 95% of the time.
I’m not 100% sure. Originally produced in England until the 1960’s. From then on in India. But recently assembled in Thailand also. I have a feeling mine was assembled in Thailand. 🙏
Congratulations on the bike. In Brazil it will be released this week (04/08/24). A beautiful bike and I intend to have one too
Good news 🙏

For the money it’s the best out there 100% 🙏
Got my 2024 RE Super Meteor 650 Astral Blue 3 weeks ago and absolutely love it. There is nothing I don't like about it.
Welcome to the club 👌🙏

But not late enough to get the free ‘Wingman’ device installed. Missed it by a couple of months. Looking for your video 👌🙏

Thanks for the support. That anode reason I didn’t fit a gel pad to the seat. The gel pad weighed 1kg! 😂🙏
I have had my Triumph Tr-6 with a hard tail and magneto for 40 years.
I take it you had springs fitted to your seat 😂🙏
@@Teacher-T-Thailand Yes ,it has a srung solo seat. I ride her for hours comfortably.

Another great video Trevor, keep up the good work.
Thank you @ancientbiker. I think I saw your bald head in this video somewhere :-). Good luck with your new Channel.

Great. I can’t wait to try them and dial them in 👌🙏
I have this as well and I love it.
It’s a good bike for the money paid 🙏
1:06 I watched this part many times. Like 650 but love my 350 on fuel. รถสวยครับครู 😊
555. Yes the 350 is so good on fuel. Safe riding 🙏
Any suggestions on how to install a camera on the 650? Is it similar to your video on the 350? Tap into the brake light wire? Thank you.
I will make a video soon if you can wait 🙏
Can do. I purchased the same kit as the one you featured for the 350. Thank you@@Teacher-T-Thailand
Great vid ! Do they sell those shocks for the Meteor 350 ?
I’m sure they do. YSS makes for all makes and models, and will even dial in and set the units for your exact weight prior to delivery.
Many thanks.
@@Teacher-T-Thailand Just checked them out $1200 CAD lol
@@lancerbiker5263 That’s crazy. Stupid import and export taxes.
Is the mc, from Indian??

Ha ha ha yesssss 🙏
nice review, but ten months wages for this bike!
Thanks. Yep Thai Teacher wages are very low sadly. But luckily so is the cost of living in Thailand. 🙏
