Thank you so much for this. We used garlic to get rid of worms in our first dog. Worked like a charm and she never had issues with it. My cat, on the hand, cannot stand the smell and will not touch the stuff!
My golden retriever got fresh cooked garlic mixed in her food & she lived 15 years! I never bought into the stories of it being harmful to dogs, so much overreaction out there. She also loved the NaturVet garlic flavored brewer's yeast tablets!!!
The book is excellent. I just finished listening it on Audible and then bought the hard copy as a reference because it is so packed with information. Rodney and Karen did extensive research through scientific literature to bring dog owners the most up to date, peer reviewed science on canine nutrition and health. I'm giving several of my dog loving friends The Forever Dog book for Christmas.
I used garlic for Giardia, intestinal bugs, fleas and ticks. It works great and my dogs are happy and healthy. 1 clove a day for the 100lb dog, 1/4 clove for the 20lbs dog

Any tests of anything which is healing and actually good go thru excessive dosages to botch the outcome, we have to be smart enough to catch the "detail"
My puppy won't eat his meal if he can smell any fresh garlic in it, so I've started putting a little in his home cooked treats. Where there is a will, there is a way.
I have also looked a couple times. All that is there now are the options to buy their two books. I have done that! I would like to see the PDF!! They say there is one there. I still do not see it. I am giving up on that!! 😕
I'm not holding out on much chance of getting an actual answer from you, Rodney, but here goes. Can dogs eat all types of garlic? I had some given to me and the cloves are huge! (so the dose is not consistent, a clove of garlic is not the same as the next clove of garlic)
My dog had some steak (which never makes her sick) one time that had garlic butter on it and she threw up the whole night so I would still stay away every dog is different
Sad that they test on animals for anything (taking a chance) I know I know that’s how they learn but I’d rather them test on humans because humans are dumb enough to accept testing and trials 🤷♀️
God's medicine! Praise the lord. Would of helped my Benny from all the antibiotics he had. Garlic fights the resistant bacteria from too many pharma antibiotics anti( against) bio (life).
As soon as you said "China"... I thought 🤔 Mmmm is it wise to give the fate of our lives to another country? What makes someone else's science better than ours. Citizens should have more say on what is studied, and with full disclosure. We MUST be open- minded to any heath issues. Be proactive, and as situations arise, explore whatever research available. 😉 We are intellegent, evolving global and transitory. Why is naturopath considered "bad for us" until it is patented. Measure and study is good. Keeping information away is bad.
That is disgusting and abusive to your poor dogs. I hope that they are taken away from you before they have serious health issues. That or hopefully your just a troll. It's hard to imagine anyone following this channel would do something that horrible to their pets.
Guys you’re doing an amazing job with the way you present and share your findings
my dog is chowchow and she like turmeric is it safe for dog?
Best ever confirmation on safety and efficacy of garlic use. Thank you.
Good morning Caroline
Thanks!

Garlic, mixed with pumpkin is great as a dewormer
@@greatergoodfijithegreaterg6272 You mean pumpkin seeds? which is a dewormer and I'd guess pumpkin to aid the easy stools

is it safe for cats in small dosage based on the weight of the cat?
It's videos like this is why I love you two.
I started using one garlic with boiled veggies and meat, I noticed no more fleas getting into my Mochi when he goes to the dog park or dog stores.
Did you cook the garlic with the food?
@@ronu7313 with the veggies but tiny portion of garlic.
I used garlic for Giardia, intestinal bugs, fleas and ticks. It works great and my dogs are happy and healthy. 1 clove a day for the 100lb dog, 1/4 clove for the 20lbs dog
I love Dr. Becker
I gave my dog less than .5 teaspoon of garlic every 4 days for a tumor she had. It took the tumor on the right side away.
Good morning karen
Dry or fresh garlic?
"hello Facebook world"... I hate Facebook only slightly more than Google and RUclips. I just can't wait until there's more content streaming properly on other platforms.
I read about that study. Number of dogs = 4.....how much garlic? Effectively 15 cloves of garlic per day. 15 per day? For a beagle.
Unbelievable.
Any tests of anything which is healing and actually good go thru excessive dosages to botch the outcome, we have to be smart enough to catch the "detail"
Basic rule; too much for anything is bad so stick with the recommended amount of garlic!
Thank you so much for the update
A clove is a clove but some cloves are small, some are huge, lol. I love garlic for my dogs.
Thank you for the information!
Can you actually provide any links to these studies tho?
My puppy won't eat his meal if he can smell any fresh garlic in it, so I've started putting a little in his home cooked treats. Where there is a will, there is a way.
Hello elika
Many thanks!!
Awesome info

Thank you, both. The books is GREAT!
I can’t find the pdf. Is it still there?

How much is the correct dosage for 10 lbs dog ?
A tiny piece once a day. Like a pea size
Who funded the studies that the Japanese doctor did?
Thank you so much
Is that book have Recipes with all whole natural ingredients?
Yes I am wondering the same thing.
@@Shelleyrocks1 yeah but no one answers the question. 😑
Dame is she been doing keto and IF. Cuz she looks amazing and very young
Rodney could you pin the documents you held up plz? Also, could you link the 2 studies because I can't find it
I've always used garlic but recently read not to give to puppies under 6 months old. What would you say?
What about cat's
soo.. how much garlic for my 50lbs Bully per day?
Will dogs eat garlic willingly? Is it ok for puppies?
is natural clove garlic safe for cats in very low dose based on the cat's weight?
Can't find the pdf

Weigh the clove and adjust accordingly.
It depends on health issues.
Aww except for my Akitas, what can I give them like garlic to get the same benefits
I just fed two garlics cloves to my dog, do I need to take my dog to the vet? She is panting.
@@marianapacheco2541 you're either a troll or you shouldn't own any pets.

Probably the butter and steak fat. My dog can't have either, even in small quantities, without vomiting. These fats are bad for your dogs health.
Processed bought in store garlic butter or any processed, it needs to be fresh garlic
Need to start with small amounts.
Why they say akita is not good for them garlic ..i need natural antibiotiques honey garlic water recette and im confuse

💯
No dog and not humans either would eat that much of garlic
♥️♥️
its not the food its the pesticides

Does we should bake it 20 min before consumed
Dr. Becker needs to slow down. She's talking really fast. Lol.
