Yeah, I don't think of the Invisible Man as a monster like the others. And I don't like his look. Also I could just pretend he's standing there naked so I don't even need to buy a figure. lol
Best review of this figure so far. As for your Diamond select to help him stand better just move both his arms forward a little. You may have to do it few times.
Do you think the black white 🤔 version is out? I like to get the black and white version to match my other black white universal monsters...are you getting that version?
I think all the other black and white versions were the same exact figure but just a different color. But the black and white Dracula is a different figure from the color one. If they make a color version of that one, I will probably get it. I dont really want the black and white versions though. Too expensive for me to get em all. lol

So nostalgia makes me want to get that one lol. And maybe the little green goblin guy in the blur hooded black outfit if they ever make him.
If you are going to end up getting all of the universal monsters except phantom and invisible man you might as well break down and by those two so you have the full set.
Great review. I just got dispatch confirmation for the Invisible Man who I can't wait to get, same with the Bride of Frankenstein and the Creature from the Black Lagoon. That Nosferatu also interests me, but the rest of the upcoming releases are skips for me since they aren't as noteworthy or iconic to me, but this Dracula I'm also skipping. I'm just not that big a fan of this version of Dracula, it's iconic for sure and the figure looks great, I just grew up with the other Universal monster films. In fact Dracula I always used to find goofy with all the various parodies and riffs on Lugosi's performance and even the costume I used to think was goofy, it wasn't until I saw the Hammer version that I actually became interested in the character and found him menacing. With price increases and space getting more and more limited I'm trying to mostly stick to one and done versions of characters for my collection, and since they announced they're doing Hammer and Christopher Lee is my favorite Dracula I'll just wait and have him as the Dracula for my shelf. With that I think I'll just make a more general classic monsters display rather than a purely Universal themed one, so Hammer characters and that Nosferatu won't seem as out of place.

I've seen tons of pics of Christopher Lee as Dracula. He is an evil looking guy. Probably going to check out at least one of his Dracula movies. And I'm getting much more picky about what figures I get now too. Prices just keep going up., theres too many figures coming out and just no room!
@@mrevilcheese Yeah I think they announced the Hammer license the exact same time they did the Universal Monsters one. I remembered thinking it made sense and that they would be making two lines for each property simultaneously, but I guess they're going through Universal first then Hammer afterwards? Then again that might happen pretty soon, they already seem to have announced all the big heavy hitters for Universal, the only ones left aside from deep cuts that I could see them doing are either more human characters, maybe Doctor Frankenstein or Igor from the third film, or variations on figures we already have. I know quite a few people want the Mummy with the fez and clothes look he has most of the film, but they could also still do a few more Frankenstein monster figures, I wouldn't mind his disheveled burned up look from the second film. Honestly though as many people have said, as much as I like a lot of Hammer films (save for the inherent dated aspects) the only two figures I'd want would be Christopher Lee's Dracula and Peter Cushing's Van Helsing. That first Dracula film is probably the best example of Hammer that I'd recommend, that and their first Frankenstein film and their first Mummy film are the big three most people recommend.

I was hoping neca would do the Christopher Lee dracula instead. But this will do. It definitely looks better than the Jada toys version.

The diamond select Dracula kinda reminds me of the one from Monster Squad.
He does look like Monster Squad Dracula more than he looks like Lugosi. Man I hope NECA makes figures from that movie.

We reviewed the Leonardo and Michelangelo a while ago, but I never edited and posted them. Along with tons of other videos that need edited. lol
The diamond select creature has the more accurate shape and features, but the NECA seems to have the superior paint job.
I wouldn't of thought of saying this but I prefer this over NECA's Frankenstein Monster. :))
