The debut was epic!
Rainbow Gotchard also had made me realised a few things about Gotchard before the series ...
The Gotchard in 4 aces and the black fox is post-series Gotchard , given his alchemist capabilities , no wonder Geats Oneness is Rainbow themed 😂
Fire insert song , and the henshin jingle kinda reminds me of the opening which is interesting since usually based on Zero One and Saber , the base form will have a variant referencing the opening but guess Gotchard is that GOAT'ed to have it as his final form
(The alchemist association also have an egg design on it , somebody pointed this out to me 😮)

Hmmm, I'm not sure if the Geats movie gotchard was really the end game gotchard because they did meet and interact with each other in the winter movie and Houtarou was still mostly useless in terms of alchemy there nya. It might just be Toei trying to hard sell Gotchard, considering story consistency and flow was pretty poor in the first arc of Gotchard nya.
Alsooo, I never noticed the egg in the logo either omnyaaaa o.o thanks for pointing it out nya

@@tokucatsu well its just my theory , especially after watching King Ohger x Kyouruger , made me realise that crossover doesn't necessarily need to follow a linear timeline , but that aside , the thing that made me think this way is that Ichinose used Mad Pilets in the movie , which we know that a form that's hard to acess when one of each chemy is with 2 different character with different morale respectively, which led me to believe either Ichinose going to realise his Gotcha or need to seal himself away with the chemy in Ouroboros world (I hope its not the 2nd 😭) but it still a wild theory of mine 👍. Also I can't resist the urge to say this but....
If i get a nickel for every Gotchard X Geats crossover had multi-coloured theme suit , I would have 2 nickels , which isn't much but its weird it happened twice
(probably reused the Star Gotchard visor for the Gotchard summon next week but I don't mind )
Edit : Gotchard also introduced an alchemist that allows universe traveling which is forbidden but probably the reason why Gotchard got in the Geats movie in the first place , I just want to believe he became a hotshot alchemist 👍 , but this does delight me knowing that Gotchard world is in a totally different universe than Geats-Revice-Saber verse 🗿

I do agree that it maybe should’ve taken about 1 episode, but I still loved the debut and how you should still keep living and even if life is full of hardships and mistakes. I think that’s what I like about Houtarou honestly and how he constantly gets back up even when he’s down.

Honestly I think he has come a long way in terms of character growth. Cuz I while he is still being rather happy go lucky, it's like he knows the weight of his actions.

This was a very...wet episode XD. Also I wonder if they timed the debut of Gotchard with pride month on purpose or if it was just a happy coincidence
4:12 Alchemy is supposed to be a form of proto chemical science, it's not magic at all. In the middle ages it was meant to transmute base metals into gold, find cures for diseases and prolong live itself. Some of the base alchemical techniques are still used by chemists to this day. But this show just makes it look like magic

I mean if you throw the concept of actual alchemy out of the window, we get the powers of Rainbow Gotchard nyaaaa.
It kinda ignores the difficulty and struggles of alchemy for most of the show tbh.
I guess at this point we can only just accept and enjoy the show and action lol nya. XD
