  • Christian Eriksen had a sudden.cardiac arrest whilst playing football in the European Championships last year. Thankfully he was ressuscitated and survived but many don't. Only 10% of those who have a cardiac arrest will survive. In this video, i will share my thoughts of what is known about sudden cardiac arrest.

@@TheBretchenShow The rates are different. That's the issue. It bothers me because I've had trouble since my second covid jab, palpitations, left sided chest pains, and I wasn't taken seriously at A&E, twice, in the days after my second covid jab. I am young, normal weight, and have no history of issues with the heart. There's a paper from Switzerland that has just shown high rates of subclinical myocarditis after covid mRNA vaccination, massively higher than background rates. We already know that clinical myocarditis is significantly raised from the shots, more than covid infection does, much more in young men especially. However, now the signals are that subclinical damage is very common. The study showed up to 3.5% of healthy young people had subclinical myocarditis post vaccination, when in the general population it's well below 0.1%. This matters, as the long term risks of a small amount of cardiac damage is unknown, and the risk will grow with cumulative exposure. This makes the vaccines very bad risk benefit for young people, as you'll still catch covid with or without it, and the risk of young people from covid is small, I regret having the shot.

That's such a sad topic to speak about. I've been feeling chest discomfort a couple of months after i got Covid positive (not vaccinated yet) but it relaxes a bit while burping, so i think it might be an indigestion or gastrointestinal issue. The discomfort i have is smth like a mild heaviness and/or tightness right in the middle of my breastbone. I had an ECG and echocardiogram 5 months ago and I'm supposed to be normally fine. I've had some really bad panic attacks the previous year accompanied with some Horrible symptoms but not chest discomfort. Although, it gets worse when i think more about it, so being anxious doesn't help at all (for sure). Cardiophobia is my biggest fear to those last months, i hope I'll be fine and it will pass. Covid can mess with your gut micro biome which will result in gastrointestinal problems, especially if you had any medications. Get some pro/pre biopics and look up how to strengthen your microbiome. I recognise all that you are saying as I went through the same after a course of strong antibiotics. Do your own research and look at natural remedies, but if you get worse or symptoms don’t ease, then seek medical advice. Also look up the connection between the gut microbiome and anxiety; there is plenty of good research out there.

@@traceyh6229 hello there! Well to be fair I don't feel any pain or discomfort on my gut or stomach, the discomfort just comes and goes in the middle of my chest (breastbone) and it kinda of relaxes with belching (it comes out naturally without forcing it). I had medication and antibiotics when i was going through covid taken directly to my veins for a couple of weeks because i had high crp, very high d dimer and ferritin levels. As for the anxiety, though it's smth i pretty much had all my life, i think I'm doing much better and i haven't had any panic attacks (thankfully) the past months. I know it's a huge relationship between anxiety and intestine/stomach but I really don't think anxiety is the main cause right now. You know, it's really not helpful hearing around that lately many cases of young people going through heart diseases even sudden heart attacks occur in that mass (after covid) and that's really scary. As you may know even if you've a clear ECG or echocardiogram test with your cardiologist, there are plenty cases of sudden heart attacks after. It's terrifying!

Oh my god!! Are we the same person?! 😭 because what happens to you literally the same thing that happens to me.
Everything in my body changes after i got covid in February, after I recovered from covid i keep getting discomfort in chest but it doesn’t hurt. And the more i think about it the more my chest feel tightens and makes me difficult to control my breathing (anxiety) i also struggle with GERD sometimes.
My biggest fear is also heart related diseases. I’ve been going multiple check ups and ECG and the results are always normal. But i still got anxiety and panic attacks bc i’m too stressed out thinking of one day i might die from a heart attack and the anxiety triggered my GERD and the GERD feels like a symptom of heart attack sometimes 😭 it is an on-going cycle that i go through everyday for the last 6 months after getting covid
before getting covid i was fine, never stressed out about dying over heart attacks ect. Covid really changed me.

Well, it's not like pain but mostly such a discomfort. I get a lot of burping and it's probably a gastrointestinal problem or acid refluxes. Same here, i went a couple of times to do heart ecg and echo but the results were normal. The fear of cardiophobia to me started the previous summer when i got my first ever panic attacks. I think isn't necessary to describe you the symptoms as you have had your own experience. I don't wish those even to my enemies! Cardiophobia is related to anxiety and vise versa, though still it's hard to me to get fully detached by that feeling because i hear a lot of bad stories lately (this covid period of time, since 2020) about heart attacks and heart disease from a lot of people, even at young age as us (i'm 32). Most of them are covid related and that scares the sh*t out of me. I'm praying to God He will keep me fine 🙏 take care !

This may be of interest to others, but I had a 3.5 month spell of Atrial Fibrillation, and eventually worked out it was the tight strap on my CPAP Mask, namely the equipment used to manage Sleep Apnoea.
Effectively, this was due to a very narrow high force load either side of my neck, caused by the Strap of my Mask, that mainly impacted just below my ears, and that was biting right where my vagus nerves exit the skull and traverse down the outer part of my spine.
The AFib seemed to be a mixture of Tachycardia and Bradycardia, so what looked like a normal P, QRS and T waves, but with varying speed, as if something was unable to maintain a good rhythm, but was trying to do so.
All of this time my heart was very weird, like it was about to race, and often did so without any obvious trigger.
The CPAP Mask Strap was giving me serious neck ache too, for the past year or so, and always left welts across my face by the morning. I need a high pressure, so need the Mask tight to avoid air leaks. But I am using the equipment well within its supposed design limits.
I put two and two together after exhausting everything else.
Indeed, one of YC's videos helped, as it was suggesting massaging the neck and vagus nerves can help to end an AFib session. It sure did. Because I noted my heart rate changed when I massaged either side of my neck! Bingo! It did not end the AFib, but told me there was a link between my neck sides and the AFib.
I was also getting a gastric effect when in AFib, that stopped when I came out of AFib, which I started to realise was also all tied together with my vagus nerves, and the body's para-sympathetic heart rate control. The vagus nerves are linked to both heart rate control and also the digestive system, so it is connected.
There is an established cardiac link, such as the old Diving Reflex effect when putting your head under cold water is known to trigger a vagus effect and slow the heart rate.
Also, I read that premature babies on CPAP can go into AFib if their mask straps are not fitted well, and that stops when they are re-fitted.
My solution was to make a foam neck pad out of 8mm closed cell foam. This was was around 3-4 inches at the rear, and 3 inches at the sides, that extended to my face, so protected my neck and vagus nerves.
I later added some flexible plastic reinforcement to the sides of my neck areas, to further spread the strap load.
The result was the AFib went away the day after I spent my first night using that pad.
The AFib has not come back.
I did have residual ectopic beats, pretty sure these were Premature Atrial Contractions possibly linked to damaged vagus nerves that then healed and settled down, but this was not AFib. These extra beats steadily settled down over the following weeks, and last week they went completely.
No more neck ache, no more welts across my face, no more AFib.
This is quite a serious issue, because it was my CPAP equipment causing this, so it could well be doing the same to others who have Sleep Apnoea, and are having issues with intermittent AFib. If you are getting neck ache as well, and have marks on your face in the mornings, then see about addressing that ASAP.
I have not had any, cough, cough, you-know-what in my arm so, it wasn't that.

@@daisymae749 I had no choice really, because of the you-know-what going on these last couple of years. I could not get any help from the local NHS Cardiac Unit, who just were not interested, despite many calls to ask for advice and help, from both myself and my wife, from our own Doctors, and from the NHS Respiratory Clinic.
Initially I did not know it was vagus nerves, but the AFib started the same day I had a really bad pain in the back of my neck from the CPAP Strap.
I also have a cardiac response if I consume things like Palm Oil, which I avoid, but every now and again I get caught out as they keep adding that to everything. That must also be a vagus-gastro-cardiac relationship of some sort, which is the only way I think that can work.
I read a great deal, and just knew something wasn't right, but just had a strong feeling it wasn't actually my heart. I came across some articles about people with neck issues that had a range of symptoms, and had gone to many specialists who all said everything was fine. But still they had problems with heart rate and digestion, amongst other things. All said they knew something was causing it, and it wasn't the part that was giving them problems.
All found that once they went to a neurologist/neck specialist, the true cause was discovered, and once issues in their neck were addressed, all of the other problems went away.
The point I am making is that was how I gradually worked out it was vagus nerves being trapped by the CPAP Strap, it all made sense when I worked that out, and same day I grabbed my wife's Yoga Mat and cut it up to make a neck pad!
That worked, and it was basically instant relief. I think my vagus nerves were damaged, but once the nightly pressure was taken away, the signals being passed via the vagus nerves stopped malfunctioning, and the AFib stopped within a few hours. It took a few weeks to settle right down, but every day was an improvement until last week when all such symptoms completely went.
I now also do daily head and neck exercises, to strengthen my neck muscles, just to further protect the vagus nerve areas. I have also made several pads now, as the 8mm foam does compress with use, so if I change them every few days, the foam recovers on the ones not being used.

Your story is fascinating! Isn’t it unbelievable when you’ve had such an amazing experience that the doctors don’t care or show any desire to figure out why? It’s really appalling. I was given only 5 years to live 25 years ago by 3 different cardiologists because of my genetics. When I’ve tried to share what I’ve done with the various cardiologists I’ve had, they’ve had no interest at all. Our medical system is in serious need of an overhaul.
Anyway, I am so happy for your side effect of Covid. It’s truly amazing; and unlike the vaccines which cause cardiac issues, having Covid was a blessing for you. ♥️ Thanks 🙏🏻 for sharing your story.😉

Reverse for me. No PVCs then afte Pfizer vaccine they started. About 1k a day. 16 months later still have them but maybe few hundred. But at least i can function as human now. Was like heart failure for 6 months and then 6 more months rebuilding strength and function.

It’s not the same as Michael’s experience. His heart improved after having Covid which is an amazing reaction that prompts one to wonder how many other people have had positive cardiac events after having Covid, and what explains this incredible experience. Cowardly doctors don’t care because it doesn’t support the profit driven narrative.
Your cardiac issues started after vaccination which is VERY COMMON. There are so many stories about perfectly healthy people ending up with cardiac issues and death after vaccination. Add your name to the list of people who have been harmed by something that leaders claimed would save them. I’m sorry for your all too common experience. My grandson, who is 12, was forced to get vaccinated in order to continue playing sports. After he was vaccinated, he had chest pains. They did tests that showed that there was inflammation around his previously perfectly healthy heart. Not only did he have to drop out of sports because of chest pain and an inability to breathe upon exertion, but he can’t even play tag with his toddler brother anymore. He was vaccinated 10 months ago, and he suffers from depression now because he has lost so much physically. It’s not the minor incident as the corrupt, lying Media has told us!! Again, I’m sorry for the harm you have suffered.

@@daisymae749 you seem like such a beautiful human being . God bless. It’s very sad when the doctors don’t get happy listening to any positive ways one tackled their covid with quick recovery and did not follow their mainstream protocols. Wouldn't the high heart rate with POTS or IST make the heart less efficient pumping blood? Patients are always told it isn't dangerous or deadly, but if the heart efficiency is compromised through a high heart rate I do wonder if it could cause cardiac arrest.
