We're going to go over some of the reasons people are drawn to the area along with a few things you should before seriously committing to relocating.

After 2 years of living in the County we sold and moved to west Belleville..Many reasons why. Tourists, Taxes, Ticks and the water situation in the County. Its a great place to visit but not to live full time. There is a strong bias against those who move in from TO.
The way things are in this country, I wouldn't invest another dime in real estate here.

What if you bought property with a home, could you add a pre-fab or second home for Airbnb? Or is this part of the cap as well?
Great questions - as I understand it, they will not issue an additional license as that is a separate unit. That being said, I've not checked with the municipality on this exact scenario - I'll follow up if I get a more concrete answer.
Municipal government has too much power over your property. Don’t even mention Quinte Conservation that is against expansion and home building
@@the_jeremytremblay Currently you must reside on the same property if you want a second building as an AirBnB. The market is saturated as is
