While I don't agree with AI being used so much and so freely, this is a clever use of AI. I like the fact it was a controlled use and had Billy's consent to use his face from different times. Such a clever and thoughtfully made video which matches the song. I recommend the behind the scenes video with Freddy and Billy as that is very interesting. I also recommend the online rolling stone article with Freddy Wexler, as it's a fascinating read, especially how he met Billy and how the song came about. My first Billy Joel song was Uptown Girl as the video was played on TV alot when I was a child. As a Marvel fan I love the YT video from Jimmy Fallon - Avengers: Endgame Cast Sings "We Didn't Start the Fire" (it's a tribute to Stan Lee). Billy's original song is pure genius in my opinion. I'm interested to hear Beverley's version "we didn't light the fire"😉😂. I agree with another commenter, you are cute together.
Thank you. I have seen the behind the scenes video and read the rolling stone article. All very interesting. I think the video is just perfect for the song. Billy hates doing videos and yet they are so good! On the subject of We didn’t ligh…… sorry…..start the fire! He hates that song. He usually writes the music first and then the lyrics but he wrote the lyrics first with We didn’t start the fire because he was going through what world events had happened in the forty years since he’d been born at the time. He likens the melody to listening to a dentist’s drill! But I agree, to me it’s genius and also my favourite video of his too. Thanks for watching as always.
They actually used deepfake technology to make Billy look young. Yes, another performer played Billy, then they placed deepfake technology of Billy over him, as he sang the song. So every time you see the young Billy, its completely artificial intelligence, not real at all. The only time you see the real Billy, is when hes older at the piano, and the clip montage at the end.
You 2 are so cute together!
Thank you, that’s cheered Bev up no end!

Yes, amazing really. Billy obviously liked it to have approved it. Hopefully an album and more videos to follow.
