- 8 News Now continues to follow the problems at the Somerset Park property in Henderson.
Residents are still unsure of their future after they were notified by the City of Henderson that the HOA has less than two weeks to get a broken water system fixed. If they don’t get it fixed their neighborhood could be condemned.

They didn’t break that water pipe that’s where y’all probably were supposed to get that pipe fixed.

The HOA has an allotment for these things. Why do you think they've been collecting your money month after month? This will in no way put the budget in jeopardy. If so, there should be an investigation and possibly a change of staff.
HOA Scam is the worst idea ever concieved by corrupt developers and city officials who made this a liable option for home ownership. It seems to me that if all this liability of water distribution to its owners was disclosed upfront these owners would have declined to purchase these units. In essence these condos are a money PIT.
Got to get them out to get the new Americans in.
Someone needs to look into where the HOA money has been spent all these years. It clearly isn’t spent on the upkeep of the complex. It’s rundown with trash everywhere… something isn’t adding up.

How are these repairs the responsibility of the association. Any other home outside of an HOA is not responsible for main water line issues; that is the responsibility of the city water department. Once the problem hits the Owners property, then the Owner would have to pay for a new pipe and meter but I seriously can't see that costing $10,000 per home. And why in the world would the HOA even be involved in that? I live in an HOA in LV and Owners are financially responsible for their own plumbing repairs on their property.

This is is why NRED was supposed to implement a task force. I have CAMCO, we can't even get a on site meeting, they don't answer and Nred is happy to make 🤑 on the new sale. A year is a long time to check the property. INSURANCE?
