how can we get rid of pvp protection? sometime the enemy is far and if i flashwave it wont hit them because im still protected. Do i always have to hit someone to disable pvp protection or is there a button i can click so i won't have to attack anyone.
Unfortunately yes, try to get a frontline target prior to fight, you can throw a Chain Lighting so you get in combat then Flash Wave. It sucks but no choice.
Very good video, my only question is about the passives you use for mass pvp, I see that you get the two passives that requires you to stand still, however, do you really manage to activate them during a mass pvp ? It seems like we are always running
@@HikimaruL2 indeed the uptime on these 2 passives isn't optimal, it really depends situations. Amazing video. I wasn't able to find information about how to build properly Staff/Dagger for PvP ? Should I build ranged and magic evasion ? is staff and dagger even viable in pvp or it's better to respec to bow and staff?
@@gentlemanjack4083 on staff/daggers I would definitely go Evasion since you have more passives that get you higher Evasion. And yes staff/daggers is really solid in PvP too, simply more difficult to play because of the need to pick the right target so you do lot of AoE damage, while Flash Wave by pass this aspect. It's much better for smaller scale due to your mobility, while staff/bow is the ZvZ DPS king.
@@hroxyz1 would you say ranged/magic evasion or melee evasion would be better for staff/dagger? it's hard for me to decide but I'm feeling that I need to build ranged/magic to survive because I have few tools like talus staff and purification stone to avoid some singular melee attacks but ranged has super heavy damage.
@@gentlemanjack4083 for larger scale, ranged and magic evasion is probably the best. Here is a Questlog I have done for Melee/Magic Evasion: questlog.gg/throne-and-liberty/en/character-builder/AnnihilationAndTheParalyzingRing?build-id=638988 It would be even more optimal once we get T2 dungeons that should unlock a few more T1 items that are still locked. It's just hard to fit 2P Reapers in a Melee Evasion build and still get enough Hit.
Also i need to Ask something bru, do you think as a GS/Dagger , when i have a piece where i can get hit or magic/ranged evasion, what i should get? I'm stuck in the doubt if i should focus more into HIT or more into ranged/magic evasion ( to stack more along the traits and the dagger op passive )
In T1 you can't really consider heavy attack a key stat since we're very limited in the way of stacking it, but for sure an important stat. Crit is really important though. You can take a look at my new video covering the update for the 1.8 patch: ruclips.net/video/IFb9ckzpiO8/видео.html
Actually you could use Steady Aim for small scale PvP / PvE build, as for large scale I just think that a bind target dies so quick that it's not worth using it.
@@LittelBasher "Oppressed" is the statue for bosses if I'm not wrong. Since bosses can't be bind, they have a unique statue instead. The same goes for stuns and perhaps sleeps.
I thought I explained it at some point. It's a Greastword skill that your tank can use, it creates a link with each group members in range and the tank is taking damage instead of you. It can't be used in any circumstances and you need to avoid being too stacked otherwise your tank might take insane damage from AoE hitting everyone at once.

@@mavdoc6668 I could do a follow up video to explain Endurance vs Evasion especially on bow/staff and in general. My tldr is that with the current gear we have in T1, you barely won't have any chance to evade attacks unless you have Victorious Energy active. It's purely theoretical but I assume that any competitive player will be running at leat 900 Hit, probably more around 1k Hit. Unless you sacrifice some damage for more Evasion items, you will get around 1k Evasion too so you won't evade anything. While Endurance works at all time. Also in T1, apart of the daggers players, builds rarely go over 1k Crit Chance so you completely nullify Crit Chance from many builds and even reduce the damage you're taking.
Hey indeed staff/daggers takes more practice than playing bow/staff when it comes to direct impact in ZvZ however I would say that playing Xbow will be as difficult as staff/daggers. I'm actually planning to reroll staff/daggers after the first Castle Siege and focus a bit more on smaller scale PvP. It would probably be what I would run for smaller scale, a Melee/Magic Evasion build: questlog.gg/throne-and-liberty/en/character-builder/AnnihilationAndTheParalyzingRing?build-id=638988 Or this one for large scale PvP: questlog.gg/throne-and-liberty/en/character-builder/WhispOfThePurity?build-id=147913 Talus is really strong, if you can't have it simply get Toublek staff :)

2:27 u dont get more range on flashwave with toublek its 29 meters on both bows, wrong guardian as well (its useless because you cant use it and fully charde flashwave in time).
I actually just tested it out with a Karnix bow user from my guild that has 20.62m range vs 23.02m range for me (without the Karnix range buff) and there is the 2.4m range difference. Both are not 29m at max charge, since max charge is based on your base range. For the guardian, it's a preference. Like I said, at the end of the day it's all preferences and opinion based. I enjoy using the stealth guardian so I can get sneaky positions and lose target every time I get a kill within 3s, which is really helpful when you're feuded by many players.
@@Casin18 Go take your hate somewhere else mate. We have been testing it out and can confirm the Flash Wave max range is impacted by your base range. Another simple test you can do is to take a low range bow and try it out. It works the same way for Karnix and Toublek.

You can't whale it. You have different way to get mats for growthstones: daily contracts, open world dungeons farm, co-op dungeons and right now you have the Halloween event. Also you can buy some from the ornamental coins shop.
you rekt me today in pvp event ;D Just curious cuz maxroll seems to favor collision resistance over debuff/buff duration, but I see u don't slot that one, any advice here on which to pick?
Interesting choice for DPS. I don't think you can get near enough collision resistance to be actually valuable. I assume it's to avoid Tornado, my advise would be to position better in first place since you're a RDPS then on the first Tornado you get hit by, doge roll on your way down so you don't get instant Tornado again.
You have the bow crit chance passive that isn't applied, on average it gives you around 300-400 depending on the distance. But yes, going Karnix bow + Swirling shoes is definitely better to get a higher base crit chance and benefit even more from the 2P Shadow bonus.
Hi! Im new to this game. Ive seen many top players from my server (Japan) were mainly using bow/daggers. Which one you think is better daggers or staff combined with bow? Or there are any scenarios that really fits their playstyle?
Hey man, it depends what's your target content. Bow/daggers is doing very well in both large scale and smaller scale PvP, with lot of mobility, can sneak some very good Flash Waves with the invi while bow/staff is mostly large scale PvP, really shine in ZvZ and Castle Siege with infinite cooldown rotation. Doing really well in PvE for the same reason.
I have a question can you explain me why you go full endurance and not full melee evasion you can get 1 shot from melee right? or I understand that wrong?
I'm not really getting 1 shot by melees unless they get a good timing because I'm out of stam. Also I rely on my group to peel for me if I get engaged by a GS player and getting rekt. Overall going Melee evasion would be more adapted for small scale PvP and if using daggers (bow/daggers or staff/daggers), it's a big damage lose to max out enough Melee evasion.

What so you think about collision chance and recistance on the acc for bow/staff? Thnx for the video aswell!
@@diaxer I might be wrong here but collision resistance works like evasion, so you have to get more resistance than enemy chance. In my current build I would have at most 200 collision resistance, same goes for silence or sleep resistance. You can only cover the base 200 chance while many build that have 60 Perc are at 300 chance. So it makes your collision resistance or any resistance useless.
I've been thinking I need more health with the bow that's quicker
Karnix bow let you get to 60 Str and have a good amount of HP, Toublek you could get to 60 probably but you gonna lose stats.
thank you so much man

dont u have mana issues?
Yes sometimes when I stay alive for a while I get oom. Usually I quickly replace one skill with Inner Peace, ask for a bow player to pop Nature's Blessing and quick recover all my mana then switch back.
how to enter pvp status ?
Pre-target someone if possible and try to cast a short and fast cooldown on it then switch target :)
how can we get rid of pvp protection? sometime the enemy is far and if i flashwave it wont hit them because im still protected.
If you see that you have time to stand till for 2s toward the end of your Flash Wave channelling then do so. You can sometimes find good positioning on some height and free cast while standing still, it depends the arena. It's something happening a lot during Castle Siege due to the terrain.
What is your opinion on staff/gs?
It can be decent, especially in T2. I think it's a strong duelist combo, for arena and small scale PvP but less strong for large scale PvP.
What would be a good replacement for the pants? like you said those pants are hard to get... any suggestions? great video though.
Hey, I just did one build, it's obviously not optimal but I believe you would do fine with it:

why you didnt show us your traits for each item :(
Amazing video.
Now if it happens that there is a heavy GS meta on your server or you're more into smaller scale PvP, you have the option to go Melee evasion.
Here is a Questlog I have done for Melee/Magic Evasion: questlog.gg/throne-and-liberty/en/character-builder/AnnihilationAndTheParalyzingRing?build-id=638988
It would be even more optimal once we get T2 dungeons that should unlock a few more T1 items that are still locked.
So is heavy attack a key stat on Bow/staff builds or crit ?
In T1 you can't really consider heavy attack a key stat since we're very limited in the way of stacking it, but for sure an important stat. Crit is really important though. You can take a look at my new video covering the update for the 1.8 patch: ruclips.net/video/IFb9ckzpiO8/видео.html
@@hroxyz1 thank you
Hey nice VIdeo. Why do you use Rapidfire stance instead of Steady Aim?
Actually you could use Steady Aim for small scale PvP / PvE build, as for large scale I just think that a bind target dies so quick that it's not worth using it.
@hroxyz1 okay, i thought since its also for opressed target, it would be good for mass sleeps and stuns.

great video but what is devotion sir ?
I thought I explained it at some point. It's a Greastword skill that your tank can use, it creates a link with each group members in range and the tank is taking damage instead of you. It can't be used in any circumstances and you need to avoid being too stacked otherwise your tank might take insane damage from AoE hitting everyone at once.
Great video. My planed Temp lookes nearly identical to yours. The only struggle i have is with Magic + Ranged Evasion vs Endurance. @@hroxyz1 So the best option is endurance....
I’ve been having a poo time with staff and daggers wondering if anyone else has a good build for staff daggers otherwise I’m thinking going crossbows
It would probably be what I would run for smaller scale, a Melee/Magic Evasion build: questlog.gg/throne-and-liberty/en/character-builder/AnnihilationAndTheParalyzingRing?build-id=638988
Or this one for large scale PvP:

good video!
don't you get targetted by xbow spinners in zvz? how do you survive that with 11k hp? even with 16k hp I get very low
It does happen. Your Shield bow passive usually helps a lot if the spinner uses poison, otherwise your Ranged Endurance / Evasion should do the trick. Very few spinners are a threat to me, it really depends on the timing.
@@hroxyz1 do you think melee evasion is a choice for bow staff?

Interesting choice for DPS. I don't think you can get near enough collision resistance to be actually valuable. why harvester set with such low crit? it looks like a waste

I'm kinda using same build like you just with junobote cloak and belt of bloodlust but im running the lady guardian xD
Currently im 3rd Rank on my Server and i didnt read anything about those Guardians.
I will unlock them tomorrow the stealth one sounds so fucking op LOL
Edit: Also, didnt you get lucky for Talus Staff or you prefer Umbra?
Nice :) Lady Knight is still a good choice, I just rather chose a guardian that allow me more aggressive plays. Lady Knight you might lose it within a second if you get hit by 2-3 Flash Waves.
I don't need Talus for now, I'm mostly focused on ZvZ and don't feel the need for Talus. It's a very good staff when it comes to smaller scale PvP / arena due to its passive being a big counter to GS players though.
What are the skill spec about pve?
Check out at 14:28, I cover it a little. It's perhaps not the most optimized but I'm doing really good with it.
Can you cover a pve build?
I could give it a try but I just play what feels good to me, didn't try to optimize anything :)
Eva o endurance better in bowstaff?
F
endu 100%. you only go eva if u got dagger.
Range magic evasion
@hroxyz1 what’s your opinion?
Ithink if bowstaff endurance if staff dag eva to maximize evasion
It's just a question of how do you manage your mana problems because with the build I would only have max.
6,135 mana?
Hey man, if you're talking during PvP events, on downtime when we're recovering from a fight I quickly swap to Inner peace, ask my mates for Nature's Blessing so I instant get full mana then switch back.

Where are you from ? France ?
Yes, I guess my accent tells it :)
good video, not well explained the specializations or the skils, because it has PvE, gvg and melee, we wait a lot for this video, I hope the next one is more complete, it is not critical, because I am your fan!
Yea I get your point. I could get more in-depth on skill specialization in another video. PvE and small scale I don't wanna comment too much because it's not the content I focus on. Thanks for the feedback :)
You might be wasting traits on evasion since throne enemy likely have a lot of hit by end game you won't have enough evasion for it to matter.
For now I can match and get even a small chance to evade some ranged attacks for T1 endgame. Later on it will be another discussion. I just posted a video explaining my choice.

Bro its hard to get that boot and pants which gears i can use for now plz answer me
Boots shouldn't be too hard, it's an open world dungeon drop so if you don't have a good RNG you can still pick it from the pity box you craft with Abyss currency.
