This was brilliant!! So many cool recommendations!! Thank you for including me Gareth ❤ I literally just started I Who Have Never Known Men last night!! Even more excited now 🤩 I love that we even have a shark recommendation 🦈Going to find that!! 💙
Absolutely fabulous Gareth. Loved this. Thanks for including me. According to Aaron and Crystal, I have good taste 😂. Great to see so many brilliant booktubers explaining their fave reads. Great work 😊
Love the intro. This was such a great video and so many books going on the wish list now! 😂 Thanks for doing this Gareth and asking for me to be a part of it - it was a brilliant idea and I think needs to be an annual tradition now!
Brilliant picks, I've read 14 and love the sound of most of the others. My most recent read was 4000 weeks and agree it'll stick with me, especially as i read it in tandem with The Scent of Time. Great compilation ✨️
Hey Gareth! Great video. Loved it. Thanks for including me, it was fun to do. There are a lot of great books on this list … and my TBR keeps growing. 2024 was a great reading year.
That was so much fun to watch! My favorite read so far ( I’m hoping to still read great thing this year) was Natchez Burning, a big long historical fiction book with suspense, thrills, and social commentary all wrapped together.
Wow.... three recommendations for I Have Never Known Men?! I clearly need to read that one! Margaret!🤣 Olly breaking out the big one😂 Great list of recommendations! Thanks everyone, and awesome work, Gareth!
@@BookBlather Okay, I think I’ll go with the 5* that I hear people talk about the least. Address Unknown, by Kathrine Kressmann Taylor. Published in 1938 it is an epistolary novella about a man in the United States and his Jewish friend who has moved back to Germany. Knowing what we know now about the Nazi regime, it is chilling to read.
@ oh, that sounds interesting. I’m always biased towards novellas, and I really tend to like books in epistolary format. I’m gonna check this one out right now!
Great fun Gareth, thank you for asking me. LOL Olive picked Unhinged, no surprise there. Well my TBR just got a bit bigger, lovely, always enjoy finding new authors and new reads. Well done and great to see so many take part.
Ten minutes in and I remember that you contacted me about this (I think) and I never got back to you. Sorry for being rude and for missing out. This is a great video.
This was a wonderful video Gareth! Holly was awesome. Blackwater is a book I am dying to get my hands on. So many great channels, I think I will spend some time exploring the others included in this video.
A great video with so many great channels. I even found a few more to subscribe to. So many great book recs as well. The Handmaid's Tale is one of my favorites of all time. I am reading Children of Time right now and it is fantastic. Night film is great!
What a delightful range of Booktubers and book choices! Great job putting this together. Spoiler alert: I Who Have Never Known Men is in my top 10 as well.
Am I tripping or does the cover of Pat’s favorite book look like it’s moving? The text on top of the green grass is playing tricks on my eyes. Great job, everyone! 👏
hahaha I could have put them all through some editing software and turned a few of them up but that would have taken me aaaaaaages, and sometimes you do that and it distorts so it's a different and arguably worse problem.
Hi Gareth 👋, Thank you ! I loved this video! It was so much fun and so interesting to see everyone's favorite books . I found lots of inspiration! Made it almost through November now and read several of my books , bought no books ! 🎉

@ I think I have to try it now. Well, if you had to pick, what would yours be?

Scallydangling is delightful! I am going to try to get her favorite, the Night Alphabet!
Thank you for putting that together. Books in so many different genres from people I know and love as well as new faces that I haven’t met yet.
This video just reminded me how many fantastic booktubers we have 💪

Fantastic video. Thanks for putting it together. I now have a Christmas list.
Yay!! This was great!
I have not read a single book from everyone else's recommendations 🤣🤣🤣
But I wrote down some names!!!
Well I guess I’ll have to read “I Who Have Never Known Men” since three readers had it as the best book! Had never heard of it.
@@karennielsen9248 haha yeah 3 votes!
OH GOD NO, not the high school required reading flashback that was traumatic!!! AGHHH (it's not the title you think it is) 😮💨😭😂
Hahahaha I’m intrigued
@@bookssongsandothermagic Any guesses?
@ you said it isn’t the obvious…so it’s not Huck Finn
@ nah that was cringe but doable 😜
@@MargaretPinard so is it Handmaid's Tale?
my favorite book of yhe year was bear by julia phillips and no one hypes it
