Lol same. But I gotta be honest when I first started watching Glee I hated him WITH A PASSION. Like when I first watched season 1, I thought he was such a stereotypical jock, his outfits SUCKED, and his jeans literally made me cringe so hard. But then I rewatched the series and he was the cutest angel 🥺
Ok, the costumes was a bit too much, but otherwise the idea had merit. There are plenty of famous singers from other countries and continents, and Europe has a few branches of it's own musicals - most significantly those from France and from Austria, both have played throughout Europe and Asia very successfully (though attempts to translate them into English are seldom successful) so there's plenty of productions of the shows for fans to choose from. Granted the French shows have been described as rather than being like plays with music added to them (like in England, America and Austria), more like concerts with a storyline thrown in-between songs but they're all fun to watch and have some good music. Besides, later on Mr Shue was talking about ditching their 'America's Sweetheart' image which led to him singing a song about date-rape with his students (I really hope that he does eventually figure out that Sue was right and that that is what that song's about), singing songs (pop, rock, musical) in other languages is the furthest you can get from 'America's Sweetheart'.
R.I.P. Cory Monteith! Finn’s a great teacher like a substitute teacher.
