If I'm spin fishing, I'm almost always using a BassPro Shop 5ft. 6in. 3piece travel rod with 6lb. test line and then a small swivel and usually a size 4 or 6 panther martin single hook spinner gold/black colored. For fly fishing its usually an 8'6 4wt. orvis clearwater with various flys. I'll try to be more descriptive in future videos though to say what I'm using. Hope that helps!
Love the YT Name dude, that had me genuinely laughing. Small world indeed. The whole area is probably my favorite place in PA to fish (Slate, Cedar, Big Pine, Little Pine, Kettle, and pretty much every blue line on the map). As a new-ish fly fisherman, I tried Slate last wknd and took the skunk. Think this past summer/fall was hard on the Wild/Native Trout up there unfortunately.
Your vids are very good, but you would serve yourself well if you didn't brow beat others for their choice of lure. You're over doing the net, wet hands, and single barbless hook thing. At this stage, we know you're ethical. lol
Here here. This guy loves to blow a lot of wind about his ethics... never minding the fact that it was like a year or two ago where he was butchering fish in every video.
@@anthonyr6269 And? Don't say some lame shit like, "If you don't like it, stop watching." Bc the dude caught my attention when he butchered fish on a lot of the streams I've spent my life fishing. When you care about the resource, you pay attention to the folks who are in its best interest as well as those who are not. And I subscribe to a handful of angling YT channels instead of watching TV. Ya got me!
Beautiful brown trout man!! 👍👍
I love your videos. At the start of each video, would you tell us what rod, reel, line and lure you are using? Thank you.

There are a lot of 20+ in wild browns in cedar run but time of year is everything.
Agreed. I've seen community pools up there in summer with 60+ trou' and many over 20.....
Those 3 fly fisherman you saw leaving cedar were me and my two buddies. Small world

Did anyone else burst out laughing when they heard the comparison to catching brown trout and his wife 😭😭
So do I, B Dickinson...so do I
According to Idaho fishing regs. A single barbless hook is a single treble hook with the barbs crushed,
The pressure accumulated over time to buy that net 🤣
I literally had friends - who didn't even know I fished or had a YT channel - who were like 'bro, you need to get a net'

You are way too ethical hahah
interesting that the one you miss is 9 inches, but the one you caught was 7 inches....
Maybe I just have a thing for exaggerating things that are 7inches........
