I was lucky enough to see them when this version of the band played at the ANU refectory in Canberra Australia in the same or next year. Totally agree that "life will not break your heart, it'll crush it" is one of the greatest single line of lyrics ever.....
Saw them in Sacramento on this tour with Tool. I'm not sure I've ever sweated that much ever. The restroom was a swimming pool with everyone trying to cool down. The End of Silence is their best album. It hurts you....
This was the heaviest album of 92. I'm putting that even over Vulgar Display Of Power which is an album I love. Just the intensity and lyrics on this record..something to truly admire.
Oh and just if anybody doesn't know Henry Rollins and Andrew Weiss came out with a weird EP called fast food for a thought. They made one music video that showed on 120 minutes on MTV the song is called " the whole truth"
This band . That bass . That year. That look. That intensity. Unique and rare.
A place and time. Doesn’t exist anymore.
I think the album "The End Of Silence" is the greatest rock album EVER !!!
Every millennial needs this song in their music library.
Best vocal performance ever!!!!!!
One of my main go-to songs if I need intensity....in the gym, on my skateboard, doing art etc. This one brings the animal out.

No one will ever top this level of intensity.
Ese album me cambió la puta vida. Gracias HENRY. Gracias.

100%. Rollins band 1987-1992 was something else entirely
Fair play Sim Cain is an amazing drummer.
I was only four years old but I wish I could have been front row here.
Did anybody come here looking for just Andrew Weiss because that was me but then I listened to this and I'm hooked on Henry Rollins

Thank you for the enlightenment
Love you, Hank, but you have no blues or funk bones in your muscular bod.
Lol, I don't think he meant to create a blues song in the traditional sense.
@@clifftrainor6774 This is pure "Sabbath Doom" a slowed down blues riff.
Blues equals Depression
