I have listened to this song numerous times and it is still like hearing him sing it for the first time. Perhaps that is part of the magic of Dimash. He is a perfectionist and his work ethic is beyond belief. Nice color shirt. I feel blessed to be alive to here and now and delight in his talent and the person he is. I have known this song for years and i never like it, however when i heard Dimash's version i love it so much because the emotion that i get from his performance is magical, chills all over my body🌹🌹

Yeah I only saw the normal episode for maybe 6/7months then after he did the Bastau concert saw everyone talking about behind the scenes footage from the show and went back to look for it and it was an eye opener. I actually guessed the song subject in a broad sense and could tell something was off with Dimash but as at that stage I'd only heard him sing 8times I thought he was just nervous. Goes to show how solid his technique is though as I know I'm not the only one who didn't realise until they saw the behind the scenes what had happened that week. I have listened to this song many times since Dimash's music broke into my life. Always the same emotion, always tears. This and Daybreak are so touching! His angelic voice makes you feel... the pain, the emptiness of separation, estrangement and loss, when life shows its merciless ugly face ... well, to tell the truth, many Dimash songs make me weep, but these two are always on the top. Why was she scorned? War is a bitch my friend, as one argentinian song says "Sólo le pido a Dios que la guerra no me sea indiferente, es un monstruo grande y pisa fuerte toda la pobre inocencia de la gente" ("I only ask God that he won't let me be indifferent to war, it is a big monster which treads hard on the poor innocence of people" ). From what I've read, she did make it back to China as an ambassador from Japan but her lover had been executed right after she was deported. This song...I cried for weeks every time I heard it. I've gotten better but I still stop whatever I'm doing and sing (if you can call it that) along. It is one of my favorite performances of his.

They were brutal, racist, sadistic, and murderous in those days. So it is not totally surprising that the Chinese would have anything and anyone having to do with Japan in those days.

There was a war and the occupation was so brutal during the late 1930s and 1940s in China. The Japanese occupation of China was so cruel....that was why she, being a Japanese herself although borned and grew up in China, the Chinese people hated the occupation. Unfortunately, she became the victim....a very sad real life event....

Having seen the same people in the backstage shots of Dimash's Singer 2017 performances, I decided to see what they did. Some of them are band members of the Taiwanese rock group The Lion Band. I know this song fot almost 2-30 years, it sing by a famous Chinese singer Jackie Cheung, the song is inplaint into my mind for every note, thr first time I heard Dimash sing this song I have kind of refuse and though the original version is better, but I can tell you the true sometimes memory its not reliable,the morr I hear Dimash version the more I appreciate what he did. He make the song in his own way and make it few level up.The version he sing in Moscow concert is totally different but also good.

I know this song fot almost 2-30 years, it sing by a famous Chinese singer Jackie Cheung, the song is inplaint into my mind for every note, thr first time I heard Dimash sing this song I have kind of refuse and though the original version is better, but I can tell you the true sometimes memory its not reliable,the morr I hear Dimash version the more I appreciate what he did. He make the song in his own way and make it few level up.The version he sing in Moscow concert is totally different but also good.
