It crashed bcos of the “unique requirements” the Australians have insisted it add to its already complex design. Australia is the only country that has had major issues with the AC.

Maybe the Australians should have insisted it doesn't catastrophically FAIL killing all aboard as a " requirement "?

@@rolotomassi7824 No just pointing out the facts. Victim blaming would be chasing up defence procurement and the trial teams in Oakey and Holsworthy who told Canberra it was a good AC but let’s not touch specifics eh, I’m on the inside looking out unlike yourself just a tourist looking in.
I won’t go to much into it but essentially the MRH90s were Europes answer to the aging Blackhawk, with Australia’s old Black Hawk fleet coming into retirement the ADF jumped on to this believing the MRH90 it would be better and cheaper platform…..fast fwd 10yrs it’s ended up being more expensive simply because the ADF have had to add a swag load of modifications for it to work let alone be suited to ADF battle tactic. In English fella, the MRH90 was bought then modified hence all the problems. Realising this we have now gone back to the Blackhawk again alongside the Apache Echo, yeah buying things that actually work.

As an Aussie, I would gladly support these aircraft if they actually worked, regardless of nationally.

The Australian military doesn't seem to have a good track record with helicopters tbh. They try to over-complicate already complicated technology and wonder why it's "not working"....
Yeah cause they bought the system and then wanted to add a dozen new things. Meanwhile they ignore the dozens of crashes and malfunctions the Black Hawks have.
