Pair these with some rad sunglasses and u wud look like 90s version of the future lol
Add some pit vipers
Let’s make those skin tight body suits now for body heat regulation and with front and back cameras all powered by solar through miniaturized panels that are all over the body suit
I used to have some rad looking Prada sunnies that would of paired perfectly with this hahaha great idea!
🤣😂
Nah this looks like a 2030 version from the future
A VR device needs to be added seriously 😳 I want a total isolation from the world
An AR device more likely if you’re walking around a smoky city with these on. A head up display and voice prompts would make navigation…a BREEZE!😂
Pat Y that’s sad!!
indeed
This has to be an april fools gag.
If its not I want one for my next rave.
I think they are real. I've heard abut at least one tek geek page doing a review of them. OFC could be they are victim of the same joke, but doubt it
this would be a hot seller in the pacific northwest(U.S.), in the summers there are smoke days that last for weeks or a couple months when there are forest fires. there is litterally no fresh air to be had, smoke outside, smoke in your house, smoke in your job, smoke at the grocery store.
it is real, Dyson sent its customers an email a couple of days ago announcing something new was coming up... and a small image of this breathing device
it’s not even April and they’ve been developing this over the past 6 Aprils, so you might want to save for that rave.
Definitely
I assume it will take Sony to actually make it work, Apple to make it look cool, and Google to make it less expensive.
And Chinese to make it fake
and Samsung to make it catch fire/blow up 🤣
Great statement but you need to re-word Apple’s: ‘Apple to make it expensive’
@@xin0 And Chinese to make it available for everyone, you mean.
It would take Google to cancel it after a few months of not promoting it and having 4 more products similar to this that just confuse consumers.
Dyson just invented the greatest birth control.😂
Reminds me of Google Glass. Are people going to be too embarrassed to wear it? Probably going to do well in the places that have a mask wearing culture, that's a big market.
I think ‘modern’ women already took care of the birth control repellent.
@@sharpvidtube I don't know mate.....I live in Asia and even though mask wearing is more common and normalized there is still a big difference between standard face mask and this thing. A standard face mask is still a lot more subtle by comparison
Pollution?
@@sharpvidtube The Google Glass didn't fail because people were embarrassed (it just looks like glasses). It failed because there was no use for it.
Why do I feel we are being set up in advance for an elaborate April fools?
Think they accidentally released their April Fool's video
That's close, as being not so far away, because pricewise it may be a bit out of reach, but doable because of my allergies.
Oh wow… I’m so grateful Bridget is here to hold my hand with her humor and intellect. I have so many questions
Thank you 😂
I had to click on it cause i cant believe this is real wtf man what is wrong with people
James Dyson is a beast! Air filter plus great sound. This guy is a genius
I wonder if this gets rid of second hand smoke. Like right in front of you.
I am 99% sure they're thinking about that.
Perfect for strimmer operators in grounds maintenance gangs 👍
Something like this could be useful for certain jobs, where air quality may be an issue.
Be great for use for Asthma and other health issues, rather than dragging an oxygen tank everywhere. Wonderful for what the future may bring to help those in need.
As an asthmatic, im highly anticipating this !
Love the Flux Capacitor in the background!
I just took an hour and a 1/2 walk tonight on a very windy evening and my allergies and my asthma are not going to let me sleep tonight I don't care how much this cost I'm getting A pair
So they couldn't sell it as a sleep apnea machine and decided to market it to the terrified people from the last two years. Someone deserves a raise.
What a great idea to weaken your immune system
Your immune systrm works great when it comes to germs and virus. But when it comes to all the engineered toxins in the air, your body is completly defenseless, because we had no time to adapt to those toxins at all. So for example people who spend a lot of time in traffic or smog filled cities will appreciate clean air. Every car has a built in air filter for this reason already.
@@oO0Xenos0Oo If it also filters out viruses, then your immune system doesn't get a chance to build up immunity. I can see that being a problem. Similar to how so many kids have allergies now, because they aren't exposed to them.
This is great for people with severe allergies or even certain types of jobs. Question is how much to replace filter and how often.
You can be confident that the filters and the product will be outragously expensive. It's dyson. I bet 1000€ for the headphone and 50€ for the filters
I feel manufacturers need to tackle air pollution at the source, through instruments such as product regulation rather than tackle it on all individuals, stupid inefficient world we live in.
But they can't sell you a solution to the problem they created if they do that?
@@japzone Dyson didn't create global pollution lol.
That's easy. Stop driving your cars, stop using air conditioner and stop supporting the companies that cause pollution. "Be the change you want to see."
Only Bridget could make me watch a video about this weird product. Dyson, just because something can be done doesn't mean it should be done.
Stupidest idea since Google Glass
@@JaydenLawson I agree
Oh I’m definitely getting this!! Please hurry, Dyson!!!
I can already see this on the RIP episode from CNET
These would be great for people like me that work at the airport
Luke: I am your cousins, sisters, brother , uncle’s, Father’s, former roommate . . .
I need the Batman Bane edition one!!
I’m tired of being stuck at work 10 hr shifts in a stuffy mask. Sign me up. Y’all can laugh all you want
Also, long flight on plane, this thing is gold! Situational but extremely useful!
Yea, but then would you pay 700 bucks ish for something that situational ...?
knowing dyson battery life this thing will last five minutes before charging lol..
Should've been released 2 years ago, you done goofed up dyson
I feel like we're definitely heading towards a Milla Jovovich "Ultraviolet" timeline
“No one cared who I was ‘til I put on the mask.”
Let see if people get the reference
"If i pull that off will you die ?"
If I was able to try it you know I would have said it.
I luv how the solution is air purifying mask, not to clean up or stop pollution 🤦
You can't stop pollution but you can stop breathing it in.
I don't think one company can stop air pollution
@@hi9580 Hmm yes? pollution can be reduced significantly with policy changes
All the EV's should reduce pollution? I think when some cities get much better air, others will follow. Industrial pollution wont be so easy, but most of that will be in less populated areas.
@@ribbot6666 Pollution is a result of human advancement and ease of suffering. Reducing it usually reverses this.
Soon everybody will wear this!
Can't wait for one that projects an image so I could look like a Jack-O-Lantern lol
Lmao 🤣
This would actually be good for people with seasonal allergies to pollen and stuff like that
Welp...gotta buy one.
1990: I bet there will be flying cars in the future!
2022: *INHALE* *air purifying headphones*
ah yes perfect for speedrunning while a wildfire begins to engulf your city
Great idea for portable air purification but if only it were less conspicuous and bulky!
I agree, it needs to be something that conforms more to the face, without hiding all your features.
Goes to show just how much filtration they managed to package in there though! Can't compromise performance for something more sleek
@@uality So something non-existent?
Anything announced on or just before April 1st is pretty sus 😂
This is scary, is Dyson predicting the future of where we're going.
Even though it's really not a prediction anymore since Forest fires and brush fires are already becoming common place around the world, as temps continue to rise and droughts begin to worsen.
I think I would honestly wear this on a plane
They should seal the mouth piece. That’d be a sick futuristic gas mask, it’d be super useful for people that work with harmful chemicals. Because it’s under pressure it wouldn’t have to be a super tight seal on the face making it way more comfortable.
Cool....I would buy it.
"We create a problem so that we can create a solution to the problem which creates a bigger problem so that we can create more solutions which creates even bigger problems"
-Sony, 2022
Is Sony code for Democrat?
I’m asthmatic and I also have many environmental allergies. This greatly improves quality of life overall. Really excited
Another step towards humanity's future as Cybermen.
first it was the earbuds; now this..
Rather get the Razor one
They look like they are on the razor edge of very cool and totally ridiculous. But for seasonal allergies? Products like this could be worth it for a lot of people.
Look up something called a PAPR.
@@JChang0114 That looks even worse.
Add scents to this and combine it with a full VR experience !
The super mask looks the coolest imo.
And you can bet it's outrageously expensive
I want to look cool in my dystopia
There are cities on earth where the air pollution is so bad - the ambient day light is a constant reddish brown color- they even have video billboards on the way to work that have the sun's position shown on them so workers can see where the sun actually is in the sky. The cost of mass production and unrestricted manufacturing - to feed the excesses of consumption and disposal.
Just because the sky above your head looks clear and the ambient temp is colder than normal doesn't mean things are fine on a planetary scale and climate change and global warming aren't a reality.
those places probably wont spend for this. I use an air purifier at home and in a car. Most other places now masks are the only go.
@@BangaloreTrafficMadness I reckon they will - they have been wearing masks for the past ten years - it will need to priced right and maybe have different options like a built in cellphone and or connect to your cell phone etc.
@@RickOShay it will be priced high for sure. Out out reach for most. But then again it's a niche product
Its finally happening folks! We're gonna end up like in the futuristic movies.
The fact that I called it is amazing. James really got something going on in his head
His son designed it
This has to be an April fools joke
You would hope so, but the world is batsh1t crazy, so I doubt it.
Is this a one day early April fools video
This product is 3 days early. It is not April 1st yet ok?
Okay......
I thought April Fool's Day is on Friday
she's probably going to be teased at school/public. Looks like she's wearing a head piece for braces
Bane Edition
You think oxygen is your allie…….
@@ShanGamer1981 Ally......
Great Scott!! Is that a flux capacitor in the background?!
Forgets to replace filter, sucks in COVID = higher chance at getting it
My brother in law farts like Pumba from the Lion King and is incredibly loud and cranky. These would be PERFECT to "filter" him out.
April First comes early this year lol
This is the way
especially E-bikes and other open vehicles like EVs, trikes. motorcycles.. mopeds.. scooters.. EUCs.. etc. great idea. Forward looking. Gonna sell a ton in Asia for sure
Commute with those open vehicles with headphone….. featuring noise cancellation 🙄
But how do you wear your helmet?
@@1Rab these will need to be integrated into new designs like SENA
@@ArtstradaMagazine sena is a small bluetooth headset that already exists and doesn't take away from the structural integrity of the helmet. Just buy that. Seems like this headphone is going to be for novelty purposes only.
This is sooo dumb, it makes me want to return my 2 year old Dyson vacuum.
Dyson should make CPAP Machines after this.
Cost of filters? Long term impact to the lungs and auditory system? What about my glasses? I would like to read the case studies. Where can I find them?
This is amazing
I,m a big Fan of Dyson I didn't know that Dyson had this Air Purifier headphones
Coming out April 1st
As someone who has to live with MCS this device could be a game changer to me. I'm looking forward to actually being able to go to a concert or a movie again. I know it may look weird but I don't mind looking weird if it means I don't have to be allergic to 95% of women anymore!
drop the headphones and just do the air purifier
the air filter part of the air purifier is actually built into the headphones part, other wise you would have the big circular filters right in front center of your face. that is actually the innovation here, think of the old timey gas masks, they just moved the filter part off your face to your ears
A few days early for APRIL FOOLS! 😁
Looks like we've hit a new low-point lol
Honestly, as ridiculous as they sound, I kinda want these. I work at an airport, and most of my job is fueling planes. But fueling planes isn't like fueling a car. The nozzle doesn't stop on its own, so you've gotta get up close to look inside and see the fuel level. But this also means you're inhaling all the fuel vapors that come out of the gas tank. It's terrible for your health. I think you can see where I'm going with this.
Tom OBryan has written extensively about this.
Fuel vapour has an immediate impact on brain neurotransmitters.
Not sure this would be the solution, but I agree that job would be a real health risk.
wear a respirator then… lol you dont need some fancy gimmicky headphones 🧐
I know of a person that passed away due to long term exposure to jet fuels. Won a huge lawsuit for his wife he left behind.
@@lufcbrice Exactly. 3M made lot of respirator that cost a lot less than $1,000
What company is gonna build the superhero suits?? Suit combined with this mask and google glasses and off to Mars you go....
Respiray is thrilled to see Dyson eventually joining the wearable air purifier market. As a market leader we have accepted the challenge. Just wait for the new version of Respiray.
Bet it was interesting to be in the room when this idea was pitched
Might be a great alternative for people who are highly allergic against pollen etc.
I like this idea if it can relieve allergies and sinus congestion. But the competitors will make similar ones that'll cost less.
This should be in the next Lorax movie lmao
Bain from Batman would have been the better reference...😁
I'm getting Hush Me vibes from that old h3h3 vid
Finally! Something to wear with my Google Glass while I go to Walmart.
Smart move
dankpods is going to be so excited
Id love to se his reaction to this nonsense
My wife is very interested. She’s worried on how to clean the mask? How often you have to change the filter?
It looks like some kind of new super villain
There needs to be something that's more transparent so facial features can be visible. Our society depends on seeing the people we talk to, talking to a mask seems to be like talking to a robot. edit> the price according to the rest of the Dyson products would more than likely be in the 3 or 4 hundreds. thousands?
masks with windows look absolutely ridiculous xD
How tf does our society depends on seeing the people we talk to?
Coming to a Brookstone near you for a low price of $1100.
next they make the dyson sphere
It even has built-in chin diaper functionality.
It will soon be like the Lorax where we have to buy our oxygen too
Would anyone else be more interested without the air purifying gimmick? Just make some good headphones
Will Smith would “smack” this off your head!
Even you couldn't keep a straight face.
Many industrial applications for this. I want in on the investment.
