The modern elements have been seamlessly added into this barn conversion - we love the juxtaposition of old and new and we're glad you do too! Thanks for your comment.

Overall I love this. Strange that in a property of this size there’s no lounge, no tv, music system space or anywhere to entertain other than the sofa area in the kitchen diner. That would rule it out, especially in a 5 bed home where there would most likely be kids and their friends too.
Bering in mind the huge window looking out over the bed with no drapes etc were anyone can see what is happening there , plus the room above looking directly down on the bad, maybe Voyeurism is the main source of entertainment!.(eew) :) Frankly, a case of form not following function. Each to their own, but a case of wasted opportunity for me. Best wishes to the new owners, may they be very happy there.
Apart from a minor point, a great video! The minor point is this: I really had to look for the sink with faucet in the kitchen. It almost appeared as if it wasn't present! I am keen on sinks and faucets, because I am searching for a home to buy with two sinks and faucets in the kitchen.
It can be nice to close the door on a reception room. Luckily, you can reconfigure the rooms according to your needs. See the floorplan upstairs at 9:11 and downstairs at 9:23 - where would you put the lounge?
@@FineAndCountryHomes I think I’d make the entrance hall smaller, take out the big downstairs bedroom and en-suite and make that the lounge/snug. Then make the smaller bedroom en-suite to the WC which looks quite big on the plans. I get why there are 5 beds for that price but it just doesn’t quite work for a family. Because the reception room basically has no walls, it’s would be really hard to put TV/Gaming etc in there that kids and dogs wouldn’t constantly be kicking over, and the noise would carry into the bedrooms. But it looks so lovely and the kitchen and master bedroom are gorgeous. It would really work for a couple who occasionally have family to visit.
Great conversion. I really do not see the issue of ripping out a barn and making it contemporary to fit your personal tastes and 2021 lifestyle. There is nothing wrong with keeping it original if that is what is wanted by the owner, But I say if you want to live in 16th century then go buy a powdered wig ,some french taffeta and a chamber pot etc. I mean if it has been sat there for 100 years etc, and the county council have not invested cash, time or interest into it (Oh!, up until someone shows interest in it ..then they prick-up there worn out ears don't they!). Then you do has you wish with it D-A-R-L-I-N-G!...it looks amazing!.
Hello Mandeep, the lounge is part of the open-plan living space. Although there is a another room on the ground floor which could be utilised as either a further bedroom, or a separate living room.

Beautiful kitchen except never anything but a gas range and the backsplash would be horrible to clean all the grease that would splatter on it. Bad choice.

When I see the double height rooms like this barn living area all I can think of is a massive Christmas tree 🌲! Wow! 🤩
Modern country is a beautiful style for this barn Conversion.

It really needs a separate lounge, but the video was great!

I don’t like that giant beam over my bed while I sleep.

Agreed

Things I would like to say about this video.
1) she's hot
2) needs a separate family room/ living room
🇧🇬👍👍👍
Just try and not say “pahfectly “ so often!
This is a common thing recently. All the vowels seem to be enunciated as 'ah' or 'a'.
can you sell your house so your kids will be angry
Too expensive for what it is a barn conversion.
The camera on its own could have completed the tour without the waffle and time wasting from this woman.

I rather enjoy the commentary...and aligned the video is a bit choppy....
Over use of the words Perfect and Beautiful. Could do with using some different adjectives it gets repititve. Otherwise great.
