I’ve been wearing a gshock watch for more than 6 years and never thought to do any research on the functions and features until I thought I broke my solar watch because it suddenly stopped working. It turns out it wasn’t broken, I just haven’t charged it because I’ve kept it in in my desk. This has been the most useful and helpful video I’ve watch this year and I’m so incredibly grateful you’ve taken the time to walk through every detail and leaving no question unanswered. This was outstanding. Thank you-I have a brand new respect for my watch now.

I had the same thing, sent it out off to replace its battery, and the guy who was replacing the cell broke the time screen and now i can't adjust the time, can anyone guide me on how to change it's time?

I had this module in a GAW-100b blackout which I sold on a couple of years ago. However, I just had another one delivered and this video was my first stop. These solar atomics are fantastic pieces of tech. The transmitter at Anthorn comprises thirteen 745ft high masts so thankfully we are guaranteed a good signal in the UK.

Hi great tutorial. I just have one issue setting the anolog hands. I have set my home which is SYD set the time by holding adjust this doesn’t set the hands correctly so I set it manually but the hands go back to the incorrect time. So example current time is 1331 hands are at 2:50
For the techy watch fans out there: Atomic watch synchronization is not connection based/active, but purely passive. This means, that the watch simply detects/listens for the already existing, constantly transmitting signal. There is no outgoing signal from the watch itself. (That would require way too much electricity, as well as require a stronger, different type of antenna.)
I'm still loving the watch but, being a UK citizen, I just wondered if there was a way to show the date in DD/MM format instead of MM/DD format as the watch does. Of course, it's NOT a showstopper for me but I just wondered if it were possible. Thanks in advance for any useful replies and I take this opportunity of wishing all of you a very successful 2020!!!!!

Hi there your video was really helpfull. But on my gshock get screen doesn't work i tried clicking but it shows nothing. I just bought the watch everything else is good but i couldn't check the get screen
Great video. Altought I am quite stuck as after getting to H SET doesn't move the arrows automatically to 12 o'clock position and when I tried to move them manually reverse and forward buttons don't do anything. Any advice?. Thanks.
My g-shock looks exactly like the one you use except that it has a crown knob to adjust the hands. I was given the watch as a birthday gift but the hands do not move. Even the second hand is frozen. You can manually move the minute and hour hand with the knob not the hands will not run. Is there a simple way to fix this or will I have to take it to a repair store?

Perhaps check the manual. I have a g lide g shock (the analog and digital one). I remember in the manual, how to change from month/day to day/month

YES....some variants have the multiband and some WR SOLAR......but most of the set up is the same
