I must reluctantly agree, I do not like the flips from her chest voice to head voice in “Just Come From The Mountain” :(
@@ReikyellahIt is perhaps because you, like many others, have become accustomed to hearing opera singers sing in a 'woofy' head voice rather than use their chest voice for lower notes. But classically, switching between chest voice and head voice was the standard for opera. Also, it's a gospel/spiritual set, so her use of chest voice was certainly fitting.
