But thanks for all the great ideas I can't wast to start smashinnnnnn. You always know how to motivate me in the kitchen.
Just made some brocco tacos using poblano peppers and broccoli. For cheese I used white cheddar and manchego. All of the combos were delicious. I’m sure Brussels sprouts and cabbage would also be great along with hearty greens like kale and collard greens. I want to try this next with sweet potatoes and butternut!

Sent my husband the link to this because we make smashburgers and I continually strive for that beautiful crust on chops and steaks. We get a reasonable alternative in Lodge cast iron. Wow, what a difference this tool makes. While I call it the Smusher, my big ol manly man has gone with Pressy Downy "because that's what Carla calls it". Cracks me the hell up every time he says it.

I've been using my smaller cast iron pan forever for the same thing. It's the only way to make English muffins. Put the buitter in the pan, add split muffins, press. Bagels, too. Yum!
