I remember having LNDL in 2010. It didn’t last long then either. This only became an issue when it got reformulated and people wanted something to complain about. I imagine the new batches are 95% the same as it was back in 2010. I literally wore LNDL on date nights and in the evening after I got out of the shower and would cuddle with my then Gf. I actually preferred the more intimate projection and sillage. This is a Netflix and chill fragrance. Somehow it gets compared to clubbing fragrances which have terribly strong projection.

I also cant understand reform hype, the 2021 version smells and last same as my 2011 version

My Dec 2018, 200 ml bottle is noticeably darker and richer than when I first bought it. Its not actually even close. Glad I still have at over 150 ml left! This stuff gets compliments galore!

I love these videos I recently purchased a 2011 formulation on eBay I can’t wait for it to get here from the UK.

I have a 2017 (same formulation as this) not kidding the juice is now ORANGE! At first it was really pale yellow. It smells richer than the start but I imagine pre-reform is even better. Gives me about 5 hours.

I have the current batch of La Nuit it’s a little synthetic smelling but give it time for maceration and it’ll be ok.

I have a 2009 Original formulation and it has gotten me insane compliments and I had many memorable nights with ladies wearing this fragrance. My most complimented hands down.

thats insane I actually have a 2009 Dior Homme Sport the very first fromulation.
very potent. and the best fresh fragrance I have ever smelt. I can tell you that fragrances will decrease after 10-12 years regardless of how well they are stored.
Also I lt's almost impossible to get 2009 batches of old legendary Perfumes these days.
I am almost down to the last few drops now and the DHS almost lost its entire performance.
      😢

@@johnf5752 Quick rip from me. At any given point in time there are some future classics available. For example right now there is future classic on the market called "Aventus Cologne" the fragrance is literally perfect. performance, longevity, smell all 9/10
In 10 years down the line when it's discontinued people will be speaking highly of it ;)

@@conandoyle1740 I did hear someone recently say Aventus Cologne performs better than Aventus. I’ve never actually tried the cologne before. I’ll give it a go. Do you like Viking?

@@conandoyle1740 My bottle smells fantastic but unfortunately it's only a 60ml. It's incredible that you have original Dior Homme Sport.

Mine is a 200 ml from 2015 (#62M803). One of my favorite scents (smell wise) ever. I can attest, it does get darker & more potent over time if stored properly.
Currently sitting at a little more than halfway full.

I got a 2021 batch and it's above average performance. on skin I only get about 3 to 4 hours but on clothes it lasts all day easily. I sprayed on my hoodie and lasted 3 days strong.

Versace Eros EDT was reformulated heavily in 2017- older batches aren't 'macerated' it was legit a more intense fragrance; 2012-2016 jolly rancher candy apple top, more exotic dark base. I cant deny most fragrances don't 'expire' but i can't see designer fragrances macerating per say- too many synthetics.

I have a 01/2020, it's fairly similar colour, but I find it's below average. It gets like 4h to 5h, 6h on a great day. Bleu Electrique gets like 6h easily on me

Hi Joy, need your help to find out which batch my La Nuit de l'Homme belongs to. Batch code is 62J204. It’s dark orange in colour. I was told it’s a vintage batch. How do I confirm?

idk how well known this is but i think this is important news to share: so first of all in terms of reformulations of la nuit there have only been 2 in the past years... you will hear people talk about wether there have been further reformulations around 2018 or 2020 and so on but if you look at the actual formula code (back of the box after the ingredients list) you can see that the orignal formula code is 8YB02-1, the 1st reformulation (~2012) is 8YB02-2 and then the 2nd reformulation (~2015) is C167049/1 and all the batches until now have had the same formula code, so the same juice (my 2020 bottle included e.g.)... you will see differences in colouration but that's mostly effects of maceration i believe... however, i recently purchased a new 2022 bottle and upon spraying it i thought i got a fake, it was that different... lo and behold when i looked on the back of the box there was a new formula code "N70011799/1"... so apparently there has been another reformulation recently, idk when exactly... if you wanna talk about bad reformulation this is it imo... this is truly a watered down la nuit, the previous batches since 2015 seem amazing compared to these newer ones... pick up any leftover bottles from previous years (C167049/1) while you have the chance guys...

This is actually useful. I thought I am crazy noticing La Nuit newer batch is almost transparent like Clear Water. I don’t brother buying (I start collect fragrance around mid 2022). At least I am happy with 2018 purchase one.
