People complaining about the sound need to listen to more than just a few minutes. Im sure this was taken on a mobile, yet people want a professional sound. Im happy for the quality myself.
I could not agree more! The video portion is spectacular and the sound is at least listenable. I just saw Numan live on March 12th....phenomenal even at his age!
Gonna show my age now. I was at the Wembley Arena gig in 1981. It absolutely blew me away. It wasn't a concert, it was a light and sound spectacular. I know it cost Gary a fortune but I can't thank him enough for putting on that show.
I went on the 28th, the last of the three shows. I remember like it was yesterday, we sat high up on the right close to the stage, probably level with the top of the two light towers eiter side of the drum riser. There was a gantry that went across the top where members of Shock danced while they playes Trois Gymnopides. I remember thinking we were about level with them. I've still got my programme around here somewhere.
Hope you both have better days ahead. I went to this show alone and had a blast. It was so great to see live music again. Mainly seeing Gary Numan. Honestly I was in such a good mood for several days afterward. The natural high just had me glowing with glee. I think live music could be a huge positive on a person’s state of mind. Hopefully you can still catch his tour before he passes your city. You will dig it. Focus on yourself dancing to the music and nothing else matters For the next 90min it’s time to get lost in the Numan world. He is totally legendary mate. Wish u both well. High 5
1979 Gary Numan rocked & Synthersized my world. 2022: His performance is beyond anything i heard today; you just don't get music full stop? This is music & Gary Numan was well ahead & still ahead of time, love the show - Electric as we know him.
I decided to put together a playlist of 80's new wave music on youtube and found Gary Numan and the song Cars. I really dug that song which then took me down the rabbit hole of discovering Numan and his music through the years. Amazing I had never heard of him other than the song Cars. His music is really cool and amazing he is doing this type of music in his 60s. Truly inspirational.
This is so cool, why is this not being seen as the best music out there...loved Gary in 80's ..though im a rocker and musician ..in to blues etc from UK ..London ...love this ...
This is so well recorded. Made all the difference the world even with additional EQ and psychoacoustic DAC added in playback. It's like I am right there. Thanks for pulling this together.
Way back in the day, Gary Numan and his band were in Cleveland the night before their gig at the historic Agora and went to the venue to catch the Iggy Pop show. Numan insisted on paying for tickets before they were escorted to the VIP section in the club.
Complaints about not getting a profession sound from a mobile? Comments are funny! There are plenty of Numan vids here on YT done professionally, go watch those. I personally love the rawness of this!
Just came back from the Dallas, TX show. I was standing exactly in the spot perspective-wise as this was shot. Incredible performer, incredible experience, inspiring to me as a musician myself to recommit fully to my craft. Thank You Gary and Band. Much Love always!
Thank you for posting this,, I was there that night, ya can hear my woos.. :) It was totally worth the wait. Just wish they upped the audio on his microphone, but it was pretty kick ass.
I had the same problem with the Houston show! The instruments were fabulous, and you could only kind of hear Gary's voice over the top of it all. But regardless it's one of my favorite concerts I've ever been to.
@@TheAudaxity This has been a problem with his sound on an off for about 20 years! You'd think the crew would suss how to mix a show by now. Can be really annoying and can ruin a show.
Saw this show in Pittsburgh - unbelievably good! Was surprised that there was almost nobody waiting for autographs at the bus afterwards, given that the show was sold out. The gracious soundman helped me get the "I Can't Stop" 10-inch and Intruder LP signed.
It was a great show, nice mix of old and new, first time seeing anybody since the damn pandemic started, which was both weird and exciting, Thanks Gary!
I love all these song done so hard hitting. Is it time for Gary to release newer versions of all our old favorites, with a lot more bass? I want to drive around rumbling the heck out of my neighborhood playing that.
Yeah! He’s incredibly talented and VERY hard working. Self managed, designs the lights, runs his SM, wrote all the music, an album a year and tour now. Insane 🌹
I got to see Gary and the band perform in Boston a week ago! WOW! Thank you for posting such a fantastic video, shot with such care and clarity! Best to you, from the east!
I couldn't make it to Milwaukee tonight lack of funds car repair soooo my daughtet and I had a pizza party and watchef your video the same time as concert. It was like we were there! Good job recording! Thank you!
Hi Kerry, i saw him in the Auckland Town Hall that same tour. The wooden floorboards were shuddering. A powerful show, hard to forget. I took my daughter to see his Pleasure Principle Tour some 10yrs or so ago too.
I was at Gary’s gig at the Observatory in SA on his Savage Tour in 2017. My first time seeing his concert. I didn’t know what to expect. What I got was one energetic performance from a talented guy. Very nice recording. Thanks for sharing.
Saw this show in Portugal at Vilar de Mouros festival - was blown away! Amazing show and stunning band! Those guitarist no bass player contribute a lot! Just incredible.
Played at The Basement East, Nashville. March 7. After many cancellations from the building being destroyed by a tornado, rebuilt, then delayed due to Covid it was worth the wait.
Watching while in isolation. A real gift for Numanoids. Thanks for loading it all. I saw him in Melbourne on the Splinter Tour and he was great, and playing many new Intruder songs on this Tour is wonderful to hear.
he has been following me since punk, about 77 but it was a couple of years later when anyone heard of him, he did credit me on sleeve notes CARS but I never get a mention on tube way army,
Can’t wait to see him next week when he’s in town. I wish there was more Savage and Intruder songs but he’s got a wide catalog and you’ve got to make the original Numanoids happy. I really want to know if he buys his clothes off the shelf or they’re custom made because I love some of his clothes.

I was there too. It was my first time in London. I was just 16 year old. I was both terrified and excited but I wouldn't have missed it for the world.

Timeless and extraordinary …. It’s like he’s not just has good …he’s better….AWSOME 🤘
His best work in decades!
Thanks for posting this. Because of PTSD I can't attend Gary's concerts any more but posting this means I can still see his Intruder show. Brilliant!
God bless you...I'm suffering also. Gary's music means a lot to me. I can see that his music is very important to you also. 🎶🙏💖🎶

Ever had Rewind therapy for PTSD?
We’ll soak up all the good vibes from his shows and send them to you. Not to worry ; )
Hi read your comments just let yourself FEEL THE MUSIC 🎶 AND NOTHING ELSE ✨💜🎶
I've seen Gary a few times andI have to say, he is an "AMAZING FRONTMAN!". The man is so under rated! One of the best to see live!
Agreed, although the guitarist is a show on his own

One of the best shows I have seen. Love Gary Numan!!!!! Have been a fan since the early 80's.
What an incredible gig. Numan and the band smashed it.
He's lip-synching.

"Films"? Bold choice. I haven't heard that gem in years. Bravo, Gary and band!
I mean it's from his best known record. It reminds me of childhood. PP was the first record I ever bought, ever.
Better than his new shit
Cruel world was awesome 2023..
Let's get the party started with a Gary numan tour
Just saw the tour in ATL this week. This man puts on the one of the best shows I have ever seen.
Man, I sure am glad Gary found his place once again as a synthpop pioneer! I missed him for a few years.
This is so cool, why is this not being seen as the best music out there...loved Gary in 80's ..though im a rocker and musician ..in to blues etc from UK ..London ...love this ...

I've never known a Numan concert to be so 'heavy' and I've been to many.
I've seen most of the other industrial bands in the past..Gary is GOLD on this tour.
You say that like its a good thing !
Saw him in 95, I was amazed how heavy he was even then
I think he is really worried about the future!
