Hi Hari Really an interesting question. When we take the cross section of stem... Under microscope we could see that these cells, xylem and phloem are closely packed and called as vascular bundles as the role is transport of water and food... Ofcourse there are connection btw xylem and phloem..and there are lateral transport sieves or pores that allows water movement btw xylem and phloem... Hope You are clear. Thank you so much 👍
