🚀 SpaceX Falcon 9 Block 5 | SPAINSAT New Generation
SpainSat NG is Hisdesat's most ambitious project to date. Its advanced technology and strategic importance will make the company a leader in global satellite communications.
This new generation of satellites will dramatically increase military X and Ka band capacity (16 times greater than current satellites) and introduce a new UHF payload. They will also be the first in Europe to use active X-band antennas for both receiving and transmitting, with each satellite capable of dynamically adjusting coverage across 16 different operational areas.
SpainSat NG I and II will succeed the existing SpainSat and XTAR-EUR satellites, featuring the latest communication technology to boost performance, security, and resilience. With an expected lifespan of around 15 years, they are projected to remain operational until approximately 2040.
