  • Most heavy vehicles in NSW have a height limit of 4.3m, so any vehicle that exceeds this height is considered overheight.
    NSW has more infrastructure, such as bridges and tunnels, with low clearances of less than 4.6m, than any other state in Australia. Vehicles above 4.3m in height are not permitted to travel under or through them.
