+The Moto Channel It's a cafe similar to this one. This and the Stanley Tang video are great inspirations for my build. I've rebuilt most everything just need to finish a few things. I highly recommend these to anyone that wants to get into cafes or bobbers because they are very affordable
Such a simple, cheap, solid, reliable, beautiful build. No heavy fab or anything, very very budget friendly, and the results are absolutely gorgeous. I'd daily the piss out of something like this. Very awesome. I like bikes like this way more than bikes with 10k of fully custom crap on them and an air brushed tank because I'd feel guilty riding a bike like that in the real world - it's a piece of art, not a machine - I wouldn't feel guilty riding this around because A. There's so many OEM parts (ie. a rim bends, you can buy another, not some custom deal), tank chips? No problem, it's not some 5k dollar air brushed paint job), so it's rock solid reliable and B. The total investment isn't that high, only a couple grand, and C. The result is amazing!
+MrSlowestD16 Agreed. These first gen Viragos are still relatively cheap and easy to find. You could easily build something similar in your garage with limited experience and tools (like Stanley Tang and his Cbass Virago cafe racer) that would look great, all for under $10,000! And you would have the satisfaction of building your own bike.
+The Moto Channel Yup, except I'm afraid of those early 80's viragos due to all them starter issues! Working them out builds character, though, I guess!
+Kevin Hudspeth We agree! Actually any 1980's Japanese bike makes a great platform for a custom. Cheap to buy, simple to work on, no liquid cooling, no fuel injection. Carbs are where its at!
Trying to locate a front end off an R1 or R6 for my virago build...lot of newer model front ends available...dunno how well they cross over compared to the older stuff.
Has the subframe on this build been modded or is it stock? I don't really know much about viragos but I want to do a monoshock build and I don't trust my little Hobart 140 mig to do crucial frame/structural mods
Absolutely beautiful! I have loved the look of the cafe modified Virago since I saw my first Hageman build. These bikes beg for this treatment, and the sound? Wow! How difficult is it to exchange the front forks and triple trees? Are they a bolt on install, or is there some modification to the steering head/bearing races? Great job, Man. You have a remarkable talent. E
+Timothy Yeah, he's building what his clients want and right now they want Virago cafe racers. Be interesting to see how much longer this style remains popular.
+The Moto Channel I think most people are after the monoshock look these days, and Viragos are readily available. I'd rather do a dirtbike or enduro conversion though
Hello there! The Moto Channel, Greetings from Argentina. Tell me how you call those LED lights on the back. I can find them in amazon? beautiful machine which you have built !!
Hi Jeffery, I really liked this bike and your work with modification, looking forward to order one. Could you please let me know how much it gonna cost ?
+The Moto Channel you haven't done a video on his FENRIR build have you ? Now that's a sick looking bike ! I'd love to know what he used on the Fenrir build. Awesome Channel with Awesome vids Keep up the great work. Cheers
+Lucas Boyden Ha, yeah it seems from the release of three videos in one week that Jeff cranks custom builds out fast, but actually all three of these bikes were built sometime during the last two years. It just so happened when we went to shoot a video of one bike, he had two other customers in with their bikes so we shot those as well.
+Lucas Boyden Thanks Lucas, glad you liked the video and hope you keep watching. Don't worry, the next video will NOT be a Virago cafe racer. Four in a row would be just too much.
+1995keandre If it's a cafe racer style bike, you may want to post photos of the bike at www.reddit.com/r/caferacers and then post the link here in the comments.
Can anyone from JTEC or Moto Channel tell me what the guys in these builds are doing about the Virago Starters? I would love to know how they are getting past the "Box of Rocks" issue that these bikes have. Get a video of how this is fixed and your Subscriptions and views will Tripple. Thanks!
+Evylnsyde1 All three of these JTEC MOTO-built virago cafe racers that we just featured in the last three videos had the original starters and the associated issues that they have, so we had the impression that there is no fix. But to be sure you probably should either contact Jeff at jtecmoto.com/ or just google it. There's still thousands of these bikes on the road around the world so possibly somebody has come up with a fix. Good luck.
+The Moto Channel Thanks for the reply. I will keep looking around. Love the videos you guys are putting out there and love the channel in general! Subscriber as of today!
+The Moto Channel I am riding two bikes... I have a 2002 GSXR750 bought new as my first bike. I also ride a 2006 Victory Vegas 8 Ball. I am 95% complete on my Virago café bike. Inspired by your videos I picked up an 82 XV750!
Wtf. Look at the video closely. The clipons are waayyy out of line. The left is a lot farther away then the right. How the fuck does he even go in a straight line?
The most beautiful cafe racer ive seen. I wish i could ride this beauty. A work of art. Masterpiece.
You really outdid yourself.. It's great how you updated a bike that was brand new when I was in my early 20s..it's a great machine!!!
Just got an 81 virago, I've been building it for the last month and I can't wait to get the thing done
+Chris South Is it a cafe racer similar to this one? The style of the Virago in this video seems pretty popular now.

+MrSlowestD16 It's amazing how bad those early 80's starters were. Seems the whole world knows about them.

Great workmanship, nice details.

Sweet bike. Matching orange pinstripe around the outer wheels would really complement the paint scheme.
All these damn videos make me want a Virago
+CB650Ryan Thanks for liking this video, we really appreciate it. Where's the video of your CB650?
+CB650Ryan sold my one 20 yrs for stuff all-wish I held on to it!!
+The Moto Channel I'm still chasing gremlins on my CB. It truly is the "red headed step-child" of the CB's.
+CB650Ryan Yeah but the '82 to '85 CB650SC NIGHTHAWK was badass. Would love to see a custom based on that model.

Is it possible to convert a virago with dualshock to monoshock...?? Can you help us to solve this?
safe to say jtec has the virago on lock
+Timothy Yeah, he's building what his clients want and right now they want Virago cafe racers. Be interesting to see how much longer this style remains popular.
+The Moto Channel I think most people are after the monoshock look these days, and Viragos are readily available. I'd rather do a dirtbike or enduro conversion though

Как шлем называется?
Muito Linda!
where is the battery housed
Likely in the seat pan. Probably a very snall battery
The bike needs a cowl or something behind the seat. It looks a little weird with the seat just suspended in mid air like that

PARABENS VALEW MANO ;)
Buen gusto!!
I want my kz650 with a monoshock conversion on the moto channel

www.biltwellinc.com/c2/buy/helmets/
+Sir Charles Of course you could always contact Jeff, the rider in this video, directly through his website:

Bolting a bunch of aftermarket parts on a bike is not building it...
Then please let me see an example of your own work to illustrate your point.
