- How To Backside 180 No Comply
Here is a fun little trick that can feel slightly awkward if you're not a natural backside turner like myself. In my opinion it's quite a bit harder than the frontside version of this trick which makes it pretty fun but challenging to learn. A main take aways are to make sure you're not popping or scooping the board too hard with your back foot. Also, keep your weight nice and centered above the board.
As always, thank you for watching and I will see you next time! :)

Cause of u I learned most of my skateboarding tricks thanks🙏
Really nice tutorial. I have messed around with nocomply 180s but never bs nocomply 180s. The way you have set this video out shows all the steps really detailed. Thanks, I may well be giving this a go 👊🔥🔥🔥🔥
This video is very helpful thanks for this video I've been wanting to learn no complys for awhile keep up the great work
Just a quick tip. The most important thing when learning 180 no-complies is the position of your front foot on the ground. If you have everything dialed in and still struggle with balance when landing, try a couple of different placements of your foot when stepping on the ground. (It's really more about the way how different placement of the foot will influence the balance/weight transfer (Shoulders, hip, ankle line) during the 180, rather than the front foot itself.) Good luck learning.
Wow VL. This trick is so cool, it's out of this world.
:)
Nice, been meaning to go for these now that my frontsides are decent. Something I noticed in your footage that you didn't point out that other people might find helpful is that you're already about to pop before your front foot touches the ground. For frontsides it's pretty common to have your heel already on the ground just before you slip your toes off and use that release of pressure to pop with the back foot., but that doesn't seem to work with backsides. So this is great, it's actually showed me something really clearly without saying it!
YES this is the one I needed
As soon as I click on a new VLSkate video I know I'm gonna be jamming to that music

180 footplant?
I literally just watched like 8 seconds of the video and saw what I was doing wrong
Can’t really have your foot on the ground when the board lands. Think of a boneless, you don’t land with the foot still on the ground and hop on.
Yeah. Foot should be already off the ground by the time the board is turning
