I disagree. They literally can't imagine that a majority of the country doesn't love Trump. They rather believe conspiracies about Hugo Chavez, dead people, and illegal immigrants than accept the possibility that they backed a loser. We live here in NC and I can guarantee you that Robinson will not win just like the diaper will not win. You can’t alienate the majority of the voters then expect to win. The GQP Maga Party has alienated black and brown folks, women, gays, Asians, adoptive parents etc. you get the drift.

Most people never pay any attention to who are running for office and politics have become such a sewer of an enterprise that few good people actually get involved. And truly good people are far too wise to get into politics. Frankly, you have to wonder what is in someone's mind if they think they belong in politics, that they believe they should represent a multitude of other fellow citizens. I live in southeast NC. Before the robinson CNN story broke, wherever there was a trump campaign sign on the sides of roads here, there was a robinson sign next to it. Now all the robinson signs have been removed so as not to associate one with the other.

Extremely unqualified, and ethically lacking candidates for high office is nothing new to Republicans and their financial support. It says a lot about those called conservatives character.
