Your voice is magical and relaxing. At first, I used to listen to it to learn Japanese, but these days I use it to relieve stress. Really, you are so lovely. Thanks

The most rewarding experience regarding talking to a Japanese in Japanese is realising that you have massive balls of steel - it was awesome as hell that you actually pulled that off even though in the back of your mind that you made some mistakes.
So yeah, just do it - balls deep.

    Another great video!
Sometimes I actually think it’s less stressful to talk to strangers in Japan than in an 1-on-1 online class. If I try to order in Japanese or just make small talk to someone in Japan for example - then I know I will never meet that person again. So it’s doesn’t really matter if I screw up big time. Embarrassment will only last few minutes lol - But if you’ve used the same teacher for some time I sometimes feel “I should know this by now. He/she must think I’m a complete idiot lol”. You were always very good at creating a relaxed atmosphere where it was ok to make mistakes though!

I love Fumi Sensei's advice on Shadowing. It has helped me tremendously in my confidence and pronunciations. Japanese with Kanako has an amazing shadowing podcast on Spofity and also a recent youtube channel. I absolutely recommend it for learners.
Thanks for the great video! It was nice being to understand and follow the Japanese subtitles. 😊

Very interesting video and really useful for listening practice. I could tell Misa sensei was used to speaking simple Japanese, very slowly and calmly.
I have one piece of advice when it comes to confidence, and worrying about talking with native speakers: Ask yourself "What would I think if a foreign person came to me and spoke Swedish? Would I laugh? Would I think they are stupid for making some simple mistakes? Would it make me happy?" I think most of us would think only positive thoughts. And why wouldn't the native Japanese speaker think the same about you? :)
Repeating that thought is important to increase some of the confidence... or at least removing the most worries about talking :) I think confidence comes with experience.

I did learn that all Japanese language teaches are pretty cheerful. I was about to suggest a video about your English -learning experiences, but you included that in this video. There are Japanese instructional videos all over You Tube ( Japanese Ammo with Misa, Miku Real Japanese etc), but I'm glad you mentioned ITalki, too. Also, you're getting very close to 100k subscribers, and a plaque from You Tube, lol

One teacher's name is same as yours!
It is humorous part during interview i need to listen carefully.
This is perfectly good advices also i think for me female teachers are kind of a little more comfortable.
It was a encouraging opportunity suggesting the site. I am really appreciated with both Japanese and English written on the screen for around 30minutes. Besides my mind is very expecting in advance by thinking to write and say that much in Japanese later in my life. Thank you for teaching about building English-speaking skill that i desperately need to walk.
Today there are not things not needing.
