Most of the time text to speech content at least has text so I use it mostly as reading practice because if I can read fast enough and I don't know a word or kanji, I just look it up. But text-to-speech content isn't that common for native content so your probably referring to non-native content. I highly reccomend trying native content made for natives and see how you do because it'll teach you how they speak. This is a good starter for that but normally they don't speak as clearly from dropping the subject, blurring and blending the words together, and don't forget the crazy speed or changes in speed. Anime even talks in a relatively clear way compared to normal speech. If you go to Japan the speakers will speak more clearly than they do with their friends. So learning that harder speech patterns will set you up to have more natural conversations. Of course this depends on what your goals of Japanese are though and whether your still studying 1 year later.

I really love your podcasts and I like listening to them before going to sleep. Trying to learn japanese yet. Its really cool this one is with english subtitle, because I yet do not understand much. I studied japanese, but only in classes and for preparing. It was totally isolated part of life AND I felt a huge barriere mentally feeling what could be expressed was not me. To pass my verbal test i went to jp to practice EVERY day. Only purpose was to talk. It was a mental and emotionel journey😅
I stumbled upon this, while cleaning and just having youtube on autoplay. Very good listening material! (meets my current level perfectly!) Will definetely be coming back for more!

His podcasts are for people learning Japanese. He uses simple Japanese and goes out of his way to explain words in a simple way when he thinks they're too difficult for the listener.

この話題は色々な学生に役に立てるので、すごく大切だと思います。私はトルコに住んでいるウクライナ人です。大学に行くためにトルコ語を話せるようになければ行けなかったから、初めは自分で毎日トルコ語の文法と単語を勉強をしていたのに、会話が本当に変でした。それから大学のトルコ語の学校に通って、平日コースに行き始めました。もう少し話せたから、授業中教師にたくさん質問したり、例文を作ったり、級友とトルコ語で話したりしました。授業と宿題の他に本を読んだり、RUclipsで動画を見たりしていました。コースのお終わりで私はほとんどペラペラトルコ語を話せるのに対して、級友は基本的なトルコ語だけ使えれました。これはもいいですけど、大学に行くために足りません。はじめは学校は悪いって思っていましたが、今誰でも先生が自分で他人に全てを教えるのは無理だと思います。学生は自分で頑張らないと結果できません。

初見です。日本語学校に通ってる香港人です。ユユ先生の日本語すごく聞きやすくて、これからも続けてみようと思ってます！最後の辺、会話する時質問をすること、本当にそう思います。学校の先生はみんな優しすぎるから、学生から質問するなんか要らなくなりますね。日本人と喋る時も、自分はたくさん聞きたいことあるけど、何故か口から出せないこともいつもあります。

初めてpodcastを拝見させていただきました。「わかる日本語」と「使える日本語」、とても興味深いです。私も日本語を勉強して、検定試験パスしても、なかなかうまく話せなかったのですが、声優さんにはまってドラマCDを毎日聞いてるうちに、わかるようになって、話せるようになりました。いまは自分の息子に日本語を教えていますが、「わかる」と「使える」のバランスをどうとるのかとても悩むことですね！いろいろ勉強になりました～これからもよろしくお願いします。

きっと、見に来る皆さんが多いと思います。
私は韓国人です。日本語の勉強を一人でしましたけど、毎日何時間勉強をしました。漢字とか文法とか。日本語勉強の本は種類で全部。そしてドラマも見て音楽も聞いて。すると３ヶ月になると、聞くのがほとんど分かるようになりました。
また、３年ほどなると私の考えを話せるようになりました。むろん、毎日寝る前に勉強したのを一人で会話練習もしました。私より上手な人沢山いるからっ思いで。多分日本語上手な人がうらやましかったようです。そうじゃないと、上手になるのが私の目標だったかも。
でも、今はその時の熱情が消えてしまいまして悲しいです。
私の日本語の腕は今もまあまあです。はは😂 満足しません。

1つ目面白かったです。
間違えてしまうと学生同士で笑っちゃうことが多く(馬鹿にしながら)、間違えることにびびる学生が多いんですね。
それでいつも「あなた達が間違えなければ俺、クビだよ？間違えて当たり前だよ？」と言っています。😂
「間違えるのは当然だから、たくさん発言して」と言っています😅
で、「学校ではたくさん間違えてもいいけど、外では間違えないで」と言っています。
上ミノさんのように、明るい雰囲気で「間違えても大丈夫だよ」と言ってくれる先生がたくさんいればもっと日本語を話してみたいと思える学生が増えるのになと思います！( *´艸｀)
