Caught 'em back in 81, they were easily one of the 10 ten bands I've seen--they sounded soo polished (Studio perfect) and were a helluva great time! I knew this one'd grab ya by the ears, Faye--REO's a hard band not to like when ya see 'em live--thier energy feeds the crowd, and the crowd gives it back.
This was one of my favorite songs for a minute. I love the change over from Neil on the organ/keyboard to Gary 😇 guitar. Too bad the "changes" they were talking about was their change in their overall product with "Hi Infidelity" It got them their well deserved millions but was a drastic change to the dark side of HI. I bought the album the day it was released. Listened to it twice and sent it to my 12 year old sister and said, "you're gonna love this". She didn't. She couldn't even believe it was REO. REO, my mpwa, it is pronounced R.E.O. Speedwagon, are kind of from close to my neck of the woods. Kids always talked about, "Did you see them at this tavern or bar before they got big?", but how any of us were getting into bars at our age I don't think anyone ever really did. Well, it was a pleasure looking for me. 😂🤣😂🤣
I could not watch your reaction to the end. I am not trying to be nasty but all of your hand waving and hand rolling actions distract terribly from the music because you, personally, are taking up 3/4s of the screen. You may not intend this but you are making the analysis about _you_ and _not_ the music. And the music here is some of the greatest classic rock of the era. Sigh ... hopefully you can learn from a mistake and just use your head and body movements and facial expressions to enjoy the music _along with us._
