I just finished Aria of Sorrow tonight. It was my first Castlevania, and I feel like no other will come close to it. So floored by your awesome speedrun!
took me months as a kid to figure out how to beat Balore & watching this guy ease through it is indeed mind blowing, even as an adult that is the one boss fight I struggle with the most.
This is in my top 5 games of all time. Got a save on the original cartridge with like 100 hours on it lol. So glad to see one of my favorite games so thoroughly mastered!
I know this game like the back of my hand or at least I thought so, watching this speedrun has taught me a few new glitches though, pretty damn impressive. just bought this in aos in a bundle on playstation store & I'm wondering if this is possible to do on the playstation port or have the out of bounds glitches (like the one using the Curly soul on your way into clocktower) been patched out? also got Symphony Of The Night and Rondo of Blood but I am way less familiar with SoTN as I've never actually beaten it but I'd like to try learning how to speed run it.

The Advance Collection version is just an emulation of the GBA version, so it should work.

It was on purpose because lubicant (devil with spear) soul raises stats the lower your hp is

A TAS would've flawlessly made it through the segments with the bat clipping. This was all skill.
Jupiter doesn't do TAS as far as I remember, if you watch his streams you'd see the talent he has.
