"You took some Joy..." was the first dialogue to appear when Brad was shown as an adult. We all should have known it was already too late right at that point, and yet we persisted.
Rando seemed like a pretty decent dude! Many of his lackeys were assholes, but right from the first meeting, he apologises for me crashing into him with my bike and gives me all their rations! He talks politely and nicely to Buddy, tries to cheer her up and didn't seem to have any bad intentions. He even wears a mask so as to not scare people with his appearance, and thanked Brad as he killed him. I really wish I could of controlled Brad to prevent his descent into sadistic mayhem. Oh well... its not called "The Painful RPG" for nothing!
Ariel Bruce if you don't mind me getting a bit into the background, Rando was actually a student of Brad's and looked up to him like a father. He's the one you invite to come to the lessons when you have that flashback.
Yes I know that. What I don't are these few things. -What is the Rando gang's goal? Why did they want the girl? -Why is Rando disfigured? Did he take Joy? -Why does Brad hate Rando and his gang so much? (well I get his mind was fucked at that point but whatever...) I thought it was pretty fucked up that you had no choice to kill everyone, even your own teammates! Poor Buddy :(
Ariel Bruce I think Randos gangs goal was just to survive and establish order most likely, you could see that they were taking control of places and whatnot. And they want the girl because she's the last hope for civilization, as far as they know. He's disfigured, as you find out in the pain ending, because Buzzo attacked the dojo while Brad was away and sawed his face off, which made Brad go into seclusion with his friends. I don't think brad hated Rando, I think they were just in his way and his judgement was impaired. He didn't trust them to be able to take care of Buddy but they weren't going to give her up.
You know, I loved Brad, really. I watched him, during his entire journey. I saw him giving up on all his belongings to save Terry, I saw him disguising himself as a woman in order to confort men, in the beehive. I saw him letting Buzzo cut off his left arm, to save a friend life. I saw him reluctantly torture Rick to know where his daughter is. I saw him, his memories, his hallucinations. I saw all the things he went through for his daughter, and while I understand Buddy suffering, I can't help but being a little mad against her. He loved her more than anything else and she isn't even going to give him that. Brad was driven insane because of his obsession for his past, all the regrets and the drugs, but I think it's safe to say he never deserved the life he had.
machin facultatif I see it as Brad being selfish, and sure, you could make decisions in the game that you believe to be the morally better one, but being a good guy one day doesn't excuse all the bad he's done before. He cares about buddy as a form of redemption, not so much out of love for her. Brad was just as bad as everyone else in this world, if not worse. I chose not hug brad because I realized the monster he became, and the monster he always was.
The guy is covered in arrows and stuck full of knives and swords. Is on the verge of death and bleeding out. Asks for a hug. You can't even give him that? YOU are the fucking monster.
He punch her across the room just to kill marty, she beg him to stop but instead he attack her too. When she said you the one that hurt me the most, that what she meant. By that point, he became a monster to her.
Yes but the whole reason brad is so far gone is because of his father, he lives in regret and in fear of what his father did to lisa and how he couldn't stop it. Personally I believe it was kinda justified, I don't think anyone that did that stuff could truly of changed

this was my favorite part at the end! Brad Armstrong killed 22 guys with no hands, injured, than defeat the leader! sacrifice his body like Zabuza! they should make the parody scene for Flash Animated and 3D!
Just finished the game and can you really blame Brad at all for not giving Buddy? Society as a whole went on a downward spiral (Just look at the entrance of Man's hair club or even at the chaos in the beginning), as far as I'm concerned Brad doesn't know about the Rando's army nor about their leader so in his eyes they can easily be some psychos, Buddy can't really defend herself because she's still little (just look at what happened at the beginning of Rando's land which I assume was before the effects of Joy kicking in her) and last but not least Brad's past...

What is the song that plays when you fight the soldiers? I can't find the track. The very first fight with the soldiers.
Its called Goodbye Baby :)
Soundtrack #38 in his bandcamp website.
It's like a really fast version of the track. RPG Maker lets you just speed up game music like that. Somebody uploaded the fast version (the one that plays in the fight) here on RUclips, if you haven't found it yet. Look for "LISA: The Painful RPG OST - Goodbye Baby (Game Speed)"

Wait there was dialogue? How did you get to that part? I did not take Joy and I did not give up my arms.
And Buddy hugged Brad.
Not taking any joy SHOULD trigger the post-ending dialogue, unless it requires you to sacrifice at least one arm as well. ' ~ '
Guess I will have to back and sacrifice my arms
Quick question
When Buzzo wanted you choose to cut off Buddy's nipple or execute your whole squad, which did you choose?
Nipples. Q n Q
Percy is so selfish
this was my favorite part at the end! Brad Armstrong killed 22 guys with no hands, injured, than defeat the leader! sacrifice his body like Zabuza! they should make the parody scene for Flash Animated and 3D!
the joyless ending; nothing really special, but the after ending credits sure do make it special; that's for sure.
Even without taking any Joy I got the Joyful Ending :l
Is there any way to don't take Joy when Buzzo forces you to do it?
(rip english.)
+Bufarly Brace I don't think so. Even if there was a choice, Buddy would most likely end up dead. ; n ;
u need to play on painful mode, and use no joy.
(the joy used in beginning of game doesnt count)
When Buzzo forces you to take joy pills, it does not affect the ending whatsoever, as you cannot stop it.
@@TemmiePlays I don't think I can beat painful mode though
Just finished the game and can you really blame Brad at all for not giving Buddy? Society as a whole went on a downward spiral (Just look at the entrance of Man's hair club or even at the chaos in the beginning), as far as I'm concerned Brad doesn't know about the Rando's army nor about their leader so in his eyes they can easily be some psychos, Buddy can't really defend herself because she's still little (just look at what happened at the beginning of Rando's land which I assume was before the effects of Joy kicking in her) and last but not least Brad's past...
DAMN YOU MICHAEL BUBLE
What is the name of the track that plays right after the credits when Brad becomes a mutant?
But... I loved you.
Because you did not give a hug to Brad
I don't think Brad was the monster Buddy makes him out to be. I mean you clearly see how crazy the world gets at even the mention of her existence.
Cozy she’s ungrateful
Michael Buble really do be playin dota 2 doe
I fail to see how brad did anything wrong
why didnt you hug HIM!! :CCC
This game is called lisa the painful for a reason
3:25 Wow.
3:46 what is te name of the song where he battles the gang?
4:34 why did you have to kill me you butt whole
Can someone explain why you fight your partners at 1:24?
RE4Master M Here's the simple truth: He doesn't trust ANYONE with buddy.
Your party members agree that this has gotten out of hand, and decide to stop you.
so what is the difference if you hug brad or not? Talking about a joyless run
you know how to activate pain mode???...
+DYLAN MARQUEZ At the beginning of the game Terry Hintz will ask you if you can endure a large amount of pain. Answering yes will start the game in pain mode.
1:26 Song?
"The Sacrifice"
